[0.0] "Rudy Boy Gonzales is the trainer of the Texas Wrestling Academy (TWA) and had an imporant role training some great wrestlers on the early 2000's, for example Bryan Danielson, Paul London, Matt Bentley or Hernandez. And althought I appreciate all his work as a trainer, his in-ring work on ROH is pretty bad. At first he travelled with some of his students to the first ROH shows and soon he begun to manage Paul London, leading into his legendary feud with Michael Shane, that was what put London on the map. He had three matches and on none of them he looked good in the ring. First he wrestled Steve Corino, after Corino had talked bad about him on commentary. And then wrestled on the final match of the London vs Shane feud, a horrible and boring street fight. And finally, he wrestled alongisde some of his students against the Carnage Crew on a decent hardcore match, but still Gonzales performance was far from good. EDIT: My original post was from 10.11.2024. Today, 24.01.2025 I learnt that Rudy Boy Gonzalez was called out on the Speaking Out Movement for being a sexual abuser and a bully with his trainees, specially the females. And not just that, he insulted and tried to force his students to pay more than they should as "fines". So his rating moves from a 5 to a 0. He was never a good wrestler and he is an even worse person. He shouldn't be involved in the wrestling business more."

[8.0] "Rudy was an excellent and very solid worker in his prime although he only did enchancement work for WWF he was good enough to work with Shawn Michaels as a co-trainer when HBK started running a wrestling school in texas. He is responsible for training Bryan Danielson among other things. He looks legit like the kinda guy you wouldn't want to mess with a knows his shit, I give him 8 !"
