A tenacious and quick wrestler that was a reliable hand in his day as well as the trainer for Sting, Ultimate Warrior and the Barbarian."

[7.0] "Red Bastien is one of those guys that I believe would of made a great impression on me had I seen them in there prime. I have seen some older footage of him in the AWA. For me his best opponent was against Ray Stevens. They were both even in size and tenacity and really wrestled at a fast pace. I wish that I was young enough to fully appreciate Red Bastien but he has a real classic look that is simply great."
