[8.0] "Great tag team worker. His brothers passing was a tragedy, but he recovered and had a great run with Shelton. Whether a singles or tag team match his in ring action is always very good, but he just stood out more in the tag division. Not the most charismatic guy but he definitely had his moments like the impersonation gimmick or giving Cheeseburger his name."

[7.0] "Unfortunately, after rewatching most of his career I see now he was carried by his brother (RIP) and then later Shelton Benjamin. He was a competent worker but not much more than just another body. It seems aside from his multiple runs as half of The Worlds Greatest Tag Team, Haas was always lost. If I had "the book", he'd be enhancement talent. Charlie Haas is serviceable but mostly unremarkable when on his own. He should be thankful to have such excellent tag partners early in his career, that's where eyes go and his talents lie. EDIT: Oh shut my mouth, his 2004 is enjoyable overall. The pairing with Rico worked (somehow) and he was excellent in the role as upper level enhancement talent. '04 Charlie Haas pushes him to a higher rating. 6.5"

[7.0] "Charlie Haas was a pure wrestler's wrestler. He may not have had the flash or charisma of his peers, but inside the ropes, few were as polished, dependable, or technically gifted. He was a cornerstone of every tag team he touched and a quietly brilliant singles performer who deserved more than he got."

"Haas was a great worker and one of the most underrated wrestlers from that era. There was a small moment after the split with Shelton when it looked like they were going to try to give Haas a similar push as Shelton got, but it was short lived and sooner than later he was tagging with Rico. The knock on Haas was always his promos but I would still argue he had a natural likability and given his backstory, he could have easily been an upper level working class babyface for many years. Instead, we got him rotating through undercard tag partners such as Rico, Hardcore Holly, and Viscera before his cringey impersonatior gimmick. He then saw out his remaining years with WWE as an enhancement talent before reuniting with Shelton in ROH."

[5.0] "A solid enough technician with his wrestling background, but Hass just couldn't make it in singles. Eventually got back together with Shelton Benjamin and I think that's where both excelled. But tag team careers seem to be a dirty word with a lot of smarks for the last 20 or so years."

[9.0] "Really great underrated wrestler. He had so many different styles inside the ring, he reminded me of guys like Benoit, Angle and Hardcore Holly. Sadly he got his TV debut at 31, already a little bit past the age that WWE was searching in the early 2000s. The fact that he lasted until 2010 is a statement to his abilities, even though he deserved to show much more. In ROH he was very good and he shouldn't have retired by march 2013, he could've done more (especially during the WWE "Network" era when they were rehiring basically everyone). He started being more active during 2020 and he's still good despite his age"

[6.0] "When he first came in to WWE & was part of the World's Greatest Tag Team, I remember most people were more fond of Benjamin. Well I actually preferred Haas. I loved his finisher the Haas of Pain. Once Benjamin & Haas split, he never really made it as a singles and he grew a really ugly looking goatee & did some bad angle with Lillian. He also did the cosplay gimmick, which has been passed around in the wrestling world & has never worked for anyone. wish he had a better, more serious singles career for a time, but it never panned out."

[9.0] "Have seen him live on the indy scene and can honestly say he doesn't wrestle like he's in his 40's. He is in top shape, extremely smart in the ring, while knowing how to get a crowd reaction. In the match I witnessed he was supposed to be a heel, yet me and my brother both loved haas, so we were the only ones cheering for him and chanting his name, because of how great he was and how underappreciated we believed him to be, though that just made us targets for him. You could tell he dictated what went on in the ring and he executed it to perfection, while every chance he got he would seem extremely aggressive towards us to the point where we believed he was generally mad at us and was going to come after us. Though luckily after the show he came up to us and we had a conversation where he said he was grateful that we supported him, but it was his job to gain heat, while trying to get his opponent over and we were contradicting that. He is a true performer and I just wish that since Shelton is back(or supposed to be coming back), that soon we will get haas as well and a reunited wgtt would be formed. My only regret is that even in today's roster I can't see haas being world champ, unlike shelton, he could definitely show these "youngsters" a thing or two, while breaking their legs and inducting them into the haas of pain"

[7.0] "He was great in the ring. Had all the skills, thanks form his days as a collegiate wrestler. WWE presented him more as a tag team wrestler than a singles. I think WWE should have pushed Haas more as a singles. He started out great with Shelton Benjamin as the World's Greatest Tag Team and after that not much expect for winning the titles with Rico. When WWE placed him as a singles wrestler they made him look terrible and made him more of a jobber. A couples of times he re-teamed with Benjamin but no successful. The gimmicks he had impersonating other superstars was ridiculous. Too bad his brother Russ died so young. If this didn't happened then they would have been a great tag team in WWE. WWE stole his talent and took advantage of him. Would have been US or Intercontinental champion."

[7.0] "A good worker that never got the chance to shine in the WWE (minus his tag team bouts with Shelton Benjamin) WWE tried inverting his character in 2008 with Haas wearing a mask under the ring that would gave him "powers" but, that was really all the effort WWE cared about investing into this guy. While not charismatic, he had his moments. I'll remember him for being the first character I selected for Season Mode in SVR 2005 so there's that going for him. Good times."

[10.0] "Underrated is the perfect word to describe Charlie Haas. He is a fantastic technical wrestler, who is extremely agile, and can wrestle almost any style (including Lucha). Haas is also very charismatic, and carries Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team in terms of mic ability and cutting promos."

[8.0] "Highly underrated wrestler, even during his run in the WWE early on (while with Kurt Angle). He's incredibly skillful and a great technical wrestler who can work both single and tag team matches very well. Ring Of Honor is booking him properly, and he is able to show his full potential now."

[10.0] "There is only one word I can think of when I think of Charlie Haas, and that word is underrated. Haas had a great amateur wrestling career before he entered the WWE, and after failing to find success with tag teams, his character was given up on. Haas could do great suplexes. He had picture perfect dropkicks. He had mic skills, submissions, mat skills. He had EVERYTHING a great wrestler needed, however he was pushed all the way to jobber status. That was a huge mistake by the WWE. Haas could have been huge at one time. Currently (in my opinion) Ring of Honor is doing his ability justice. His mic skills and wrestling ability is far better than his partner Shelton Benjmain."
