The WWE hall of fame is mostly bogus anyway but having her in there is egregiously bad. Her one positive contribution to wrestling that was barely one year is hardly enough to get in. It stinks of a favor done to Booker T. The final insult to WCW is having her on the "Who Killed WCW' show produced by Vice which was its own trainwreck. She was completely inconsequential to the success and failure of WCW. The review below nails it. How is Sharmell in there before Jazz, Elizabeth, Gail Kim, et al. You know, actual wrestlers and valets who contributed to the business."

She started off as a Nitro girl & I remember her managing Prince Iaukea & Kwee Wee in the dying days of WCW. She only managed Booker T for like maybe 2 years. That's it. I just feel like Miss Elizabeth, Woman, Victoria, Jazz, Gail Kim, Luna, & Mickie James should all be in 1st..."

[8.0] "Ok - yes, Sharmell was one half of quite possibly the worst match of all time when she faced Jenna Morasca in TNA on PPV. If I was rating her on her in-ring skills, a 3 seems about right. She also wrestled in WCW and while very green she was trained by Madusa and I do remember her doing a awesome looking top rope spinning wheel kick and she stood out as the most athletic of the WCW valets they threw in the ring (she was better than Torrie or Stacy - though they would improve later). And I guess thats why she has such a terrible score. But that match or performance is not what I think of when I think of Sharmell. I wasnt the least bit surprised when she was inducted into the Hall of Fame a couple years back. Sure, some will say its just cuz she is Bookers wife. Perhaps she isnt remembered fondly by many because of just how good she was as Booker Ts heel valet Queen Sharmell. Im talking nuclear heat. She was gold from 2005-2007, reinvigorating a very stale Booker T at the time to new heights and helping him (quite literally) not only become KOTR but World Champion. Im afraid I still hear her shrieking ALL HAIL KINGG BOOKERRR! Sharmell set herself apart from the rest of the women at the time with her stellar character work and no matter what creative threw at her (a bee keepers uniform, Hornswoggle, Tony Chimels unsatisfactory introduction, Kristal always trying to get a interview with her man, Jillians mole, or of course THE BOOGEYMAN), she got it over and made it work. She had the best expressions and reactions in the business- just listen to Jim Cornette talk about her time in OVW as The Suicide Blondes manager where they planned a spot and her blonde wig got snatched. King Booker could not have reigned without Queen Sharmell, and besides Vickie Guerrero and Stephanie McMahon, there has been no greater heel valet since. Queen Sharmell was like a mixture of Sherri, Liz, and Sapphire all in one. The charisma, advantageous distraction and more than willing to get involved spirit of Sherri, the loyalty and spunk of Sapphire (OK lets pretend Ted DiBiase didnt happen), and all while she wore the very elegant and glamorous gowns befitting of Elizabeth. I also feel its important to note two other things - its been said by Cornette and Victoria that Sharmell showed a lot of promise in the ring before her ACL injury in 2002 that forced her to stop training. This is why her in-ring performances were so lacking from that point forward. But she never was meant to be a wrestler when she returned to the business - go figure TNA would be stupid enough to book her to carry non-wrestler Jenna Morasca even though she herself was considered a non-wrestler by that point. So to judge her on that match alone is unfair. Secondly, Sharmell has continued to have a important role in wrestling as a promoter, trainer, and authority figure in her and Bookers promotion where they have developed a lot of homegrown talent like Ember Moon/Athena."

[10.0] "Sharmell is a great manager, she made the career of her husband better. She got a point, She is an icon, she is a legend and she is the moment. She deserves her flowers and the Hall of Fame. She was a decent wrestler with the poor training the women had at the time. I hope she returns at some capacity."

[8.0] "She was one of the great ? managers? in a time where there were very few of them. Queen sharmell was an excellent character and a the whole story line with booker t was great and she added enough heat to it to deserve credit. I absolutely love the backstage and promo segments when they would break character and go gangsta. She did her job great and deserves a way higher rating. Her only knock is She did step in the ring a few to many times."

[2.0] "Needless to say, as an in ring talent, Sharmell is not going to be remembered as an all time great. Her match with the girl from Survivor is exceptionally notorious. As a character & manager, I thought she brought very little to Booker T. She was probably best during the Queen Sharmell phase, but still just not cut out for being a performer."

[9.0] "Probably the best manager I've ever seen. She pretty perfectly was involved with matches. Not to involved in matches to be annoying, but not distanced enough to be pointless. She always knew how to make someone look good. She gets bonus points for being one of the few Nitro Girls in WCW in the late nineties and early 2000's to ever learn how to do a few good moves."
