Simon Gotch

[5.0] "Simon Gotch is technically sound and clearly knows his stuff in the ring--his background in martial arts and technical wrestling shows. But honestly, something always felt like it was missing. Whether it was lack of charisma or just not connecting with the crowd, he never quite broke through beyond the Vaudevillains gimmick. He's solid, reliable, but never really stood out as a must-see talent."

[6.0] "I enjoyed the Vaudevillains gimmick and I think he's a great in-ring wrestler but he has like no charisma and just average mic skills at best which sucks cause watching interviews he seems like a really intelligent and down to earth guy but like none of that translates to his character as a wrestler"

[5.0] "The dated 1900s wrestler gimmick didn't do him that many favors. He's pretty average at everything. Not a standout. I guess he'll always be in your Youtube recommended."

[5.0] "Average all around. His turn of the century Strong man Gimmick with Aiden English in NXT was ridiculous. Can come across as a genuine shooter from time to time but other than that really plain."

[6.0] "Gotch is a solid wrestler with not much else going on for him. He had a unique look to him before he shaved his mustache. I thought he was decent in Contra Unit but he did feel like the odd man out in that group."

[5.0] "The definition of "average" all across the board. Sure, the guy can work safely, but there's nothing about Gotch to get me invested beyond his comedy goof stint in WWE. Bare bones in the ring and has zero personality to boot. He's had some good matches but I consider those to be the hand of his opponent, not himself."

Right now he's sometimes booked as Grimm & sometimes still going by Gotch. I think if he wants to succeed, he needs to commit to one & go with it."

[3.0] "Gotch looks the part of his gimmick, however i find him to be the boring one in the ring, and even on the mic. He has done nothing to stand out, and unlike his tag team partner i can not see him having any singles push following the tag team"

[6.0] "You can take Simon Gotch out of Chikara, but you can't take the Chikara out of Simon Gotch. Credit to him, though, for taking what seems like an absurd gimmick and taking it all the way to the main roster of the WWE. I'm impressed, though I'm also worried the gimmick isn't doing him any favors at his current point in his career. That aside, Gotch is a capable technical wrestler, and it really is nice to see a couple of the new NXT-trained teams doing things "old school. " I find Gotch a better and more entertaining promo than his partner, and he's a wrestler with promise despite the shaky footing on which his gimmick places him. Honestly, I would have given him a 7 if he didn't nearly murder Enzo Amore; accidents happen but he needs to learn to work more safely."

[7.0] "In my opinion he is the weakest of the two Vaudevillians but he is still pretty good. He is a great technical wrestler and is full of charisma. He has a very good look and is good on the mic. He has definitely improved since him being in Chikara, APW, among other places. Overall he has some good potential but definitely needs to stick to tag team wrestling."
