[4.0] "He was a character, total goof ball but he could bump pretty good for the baby faces. Terrible on commentary, great nick name!"

[7.0] "My #1 favorite comedy wrestler with no hesitation or reservations. He would pace around the ring arms stretched wide and upwards, mouth agape. The Duke would often grab his hair from both sides and grimace showing his missing teeth after receiving a big time slam or such. His voice would reverberate throughout arenas sounding like Mickey Goldmill, only more guttural and outlandish with a grotesquely dense Boston accent. He was a total character in the ring and i never fail to laugh on the inside or out when i watch him. Don't expect any "good wrestling" from him; he bites, he barely holds his balance, sometimes ends up just kinda rolling around and almost every win is a fluke. I dare you to keep from smiling watching this guy."

[10.0] "Doherty was the best of the old school WWF jobbers. Totally insane and endlessly entertaining. His appearances on TNT back in the day were great, as well as the short time period he was used a commentator by the WWF for their Texas TV. The Duke of Dorchester deserves more props."
