[2.0] "I went from liking paul turner to him quickly becoming one of my least favorites. Its a very nit-picky thing, but it's something that I can never get out of my head when watching a match he refs. He does this thing, where he counts really fast at the three count. Its a normal count, but he has this need to try to make everything a 2.99 kickout, and not only is this unnecessary when a wrestler hits a simple move, but it make the wrestler kicking out look bad if they try to actually do a 2.99 kickout. Its like he counts one... two..three. I dont know how else to describe it, but its something that infuriates me everytime i see it. Notice how a lot of the "ref you suck" chants are for paul. Example... watch any match with dax harwood reffed by paul. Dax mastered the 2.99 kickout, but theres always a tiny overlap where paul doesnt count to three when the wrestlers shoulders are clearly still on the mat. Again, this is very nit-picky, and im sure he is a great guy, but I recommend looking out for this when watching him."

[6.0] "My favorite Paul Turner moment of al time is when Dax Harwood threw a steel cage into the ring from the outside during FTR's match against the Briscoes at ROH Supercard Of Honor 2022, and Paul Turner just caught it perfectly and got rid of it..."
[9.0] "Tremendous referee with believability. He keeps in the background and takes care of the little things, while leaving the wrestlers to shine. He has been good for a long, long time as I noticed his ability back in the early ROH days as well."
[9.0] "My favorite referee in AEW. I feel other referees in AEW sometimes do too much or allow too much to happen in the ring. However, Turner is different. When he is in the ring officiating a match, there is going to be little horseplay or what have you happening in that ring. Also, when he is in the ring, he gives the match a big match feel."
