No Way Jose

[4.0] "Decent enough preliminary talent. But the dancing gimmick is over done, I prefer him to Adam Rose and Brodus Clay"

[6.0] "I've always had a soft spot in my heart for No Way Jose. He might not be the most flashy in-ring performer, and his gimmick does create a pretty low ceiling for him (at least at this stage), but he's an entertaining guy and he's good for what he brings to the table."

[8.0] "It is sad to think No Way Jose was a jobber in WWE because his mic skills were great. You can tell No Way Jose was a great guy in real life (he is) and is such a good character worker. I admit that he wasn't the best in-ring performer in WWE but was still someone who fans loved to see. He was awesome in NXT with his most memorable rivalry with Bobby Roode, he just was a great talent in NXT who was ruined when they got called up."

[4.0] "He performs his role as a jobber adequately. Can perform some entertaining comedy work when put in the right spot."

[4.0] "Kind of shocked that WWE are keeping him around. Bad wrestler but I always kinda enjoyed the gimmick."

[2.0] "A gimmick where a guy just wants to smile & dance & have a good time will never work. NEVER. Why do they keep trying it over & over?"

[2.0] "I try update wrestlers rating every year , so i don't think about their past , i just think about their 1 last year , i know promotions can make wrestlers years worst or awesome too but it is what it is..... So at 2018 till now no way jose that i give him good rate :D when he was in NXT i give him 4 rate but i didn't see anything good about him in one last year , just another Adam Rose but FACE at this time :D"

[5.0] "No Way Jose has a great personality and good presence in the ring (as well as a fantastic ring name). His fighting ability is still a bit of a work in progress, but coming along. I like the balance he's struck with his character that you don't always see with "fun babyface" gimmicks - he's a guy who likes dancing and having a good time, but when the bell rings is still able to maintain that personal while also coming off as a tough guy who's not to be taken lightly. A solid undercard act for the time being; now that he's hit the main roster we'll see how far he's able to take it."

[7.0] "has strong charisma and can work the crowd to his favour, but he needs to do more in the ring as he doesn't look powerful or devastating enough when he does his moves."

[8.0] "Jose has really grown on me. A lot of us thought he would be a one note wrestler, with enough charisma, and a bad gimmicks that held him back. While being a fun party guy isn't much of a gimmick, with great matches, and great charisma, Jose is becoming one of the most fun things about NXT"

[7.0] "I think Jose has enough charisma to help him succeed, he seems pretty good in the ring too. I feel like a main roster run will happen soon. Plus I enjoyed the partnership with Rich Swann throughout the Dusty Classic, so that could help his case as well."

[8.0] "No idea why No Way Jose's rating is so low. That's just crazy and unfair. He's clearly talented and has charisma for days. He's fun to watch and has a great connection with the crowd. There's a big difference between his party gimmick and say the old Adam Rose gimmick that was a failure."

[7.0] "He may not be a technical wizard in the ring, but he plays his gimmick really well and connects with the crowds."

[6.0] "It's probably tough today in NXT to be a wrestler that doesn't have a very interesting background in the independent circuit, like Jose. So when you launch in NXT a wrestler with no relevant background and with a gimmick that always gets on the nerves of smark wrestling fans, the chances for you to get booed out of the building are pretty big. But that's what I find worth of respect in No Way Jose. He got over. Not very over but he got over. His gimmick is risky but it's different, it's catchy. And he's far from being a great wrestler but (as we saw against Aries) he's willing to work to present us with a good match. So that's No Way Jose: he's not a guy that will pull a Match of the Year candidate in the future, he won't be on a main event of a Takeover because honestly he won't even be a main eventer. But he can have a decent run in an undercard or midcard. And that's ok, because wrestlers for the undercard and midcard are also necessary and they also deserve some praise."

[4.0] "No Way Jose definitely has personality, and his charisma has allowed him to become a rapid fan-favorite in NXT. In particular, he's been getting very good receptions at house shows and from the younger portion of the audience. The thing is, though, he's been protected by a series of squash matches where he's largely been carried through. We'll see how he handles longer matches against Austin Aries; I worry that he'll rapidly be exposed. His ring work actually isn't particularly exciting, and his move are actually rather simple -- he pulls them off with flair, but as a worker he's certainly no better than, say, Baron Corbin. Of course, that's why he's still in developmental; with time hopefully he'll improve and become more natural when it comes to his promos."

[5.0] "So far we still haven't seen much of him in NXT. He always gets put in squash matches and usually wins in like one or two minutes. He has a lot of energy and charisma and thats what I really like about him. Even though his matches are short they are fun. Overall he needs to be booked alot better and actually showcase some of his moves but for now he gets a 5/10 from me."

[8.0] "gimmick is super limitated but the guy has a great look... is clearly athletic... and seams to have a good attitude. hopefully there is a plan in place to lose the gimmick down the road but i like this guy from what ive seen so far for what it is"

[8.0] "I'm gonna give this guy an 8 to start. He hasn't had much tv time to go off of but he's impressed me enough. He gets race reviews about what he's capable of at live events which is good to hear. He is very charismatic and all around fun. His gimmick is a bit childish but idc because that's what wrestling is all about, having a good time and he delivers that for me. Time will tell of he goes up pr down but I like him thus far"

[8.0] "Pretty early to judge but he's probably been the most entertaining thing on NXT in ages. He's got charisma oozing everywhere, from promos to unique workrate."

"I have not watched much of this enough of him, but while watching his NXT and Manny Garcia (His bad guy DR gimmick in CWF) promos and exudes charisma. The match of his debut was extremely fun to watch. I want to watch more him though."
