Dolph was the ultimate company man and the whole package, gave his all for the company which didn't treat him any better than Fandango besides throwing away 2 meaningless world title reigns and the then hotch-potch IC title."

Known for his incredible bumping and crisp in-ring style, he elevates every match he's in. Though often underutilized, his ability to sell, adapt, and deliver strong promos has earned him lasting respect from fans and peers alike."

Seems like he is even more motivated to be the top guy now that he is wrestling on the independent wrestling promotions."

His voice is very grating during promos and really lacks that "it" factor that guys of his size usually need to succeed. He can be a very solid mid-carder at times and can help elevate an up-and-coming talent but I don't view him much more highly than that."

It's cool he left and is trying to make an impact (pun not intended) elsewhere, because he's a good wrestler and he was never going beyond the middle of the card in WWE. I think he did tend to oversell quite a bit."

[7.0] "Nic Nemeth, better known as Dolph Ziggler, has long been one of wrestlings most underrated in-ring performers. What sets him apart is his exceptional ability to sell for his opponents. Whether its taking a simple bump or a major spot, Ziggler has a unique talent for making every move look devastating. This skill alone has elevated countless matches, turning them into memorable bouts that stick with fans long after the bell rings. Throughout his career, Ziggler has delivered some of his best work outside the main event scene. Matches like his clash with Edge at the Royal Rumble in 2011 or his bout against CM Punk at the 2012 Royal Rumble stand out as prime examples of his ability to steal the show, even when he wasnt in the spotlight. His rivalry with The Miz over the Intercontinental title further solidified his reputation as a workhorse, consistently putting on high-quality matches that resonated with fans. Of course, Zigglers career hasnt been without its ups and downs. There have been moments when his character felt flat, and his promo skills have occasionally been hit or miss. But when hes on his game with the mic, he can deliver some truly compelling promos that remind everyone of his veteran status and charisma. His recent run in TNA has only reinforced his staying power, with his Ironman match against Josh Alexander serving as a testament to his enduring talent after more than 15 years in the business. While there have been times when Ziggler wasnt lighting up the wrestling world, its clear that when hes on, theres no one better than Nic Nemeth. His dedication, skill, and passion for wrestling have made him a standout performer, and his ability to still put on clinic-like matches after so many years is nothing short of impressive. Ziggler may not always get the recognition he deserves, but to those who have followed his career closely, hes undeniably one of the best."

Today Nic Nemeth can expose his real in-ring level, and his real creative level because he is a total package wrestler. He has everything : Still physically impressive despite he his 44. Has an amateur wrestling background, athletic and good in the ring. Nic can make us feel incredible emotions on the microphone or in his storylines and of course, how can we not mention his selling level. Nic Nemeth, 2024 always to show the world."

[10.0] "Dolph Ziggler in my view is one of the best of his generation and with a multitude of championships and accomplishments, he is also one of the most decorated to not quite reach the top of the card. Ziggler is a mix of Mr Perfect and Shawn Michaels with a Billy Gunn aesthetic, he's a fantastic arrogant heel but works well from beneath too as a fighting babyface (a transition similar to yet another bleached blonde Steve Corino). His promo work is deeply underrated too, often wildly passionate and compelling. Booking has always been the issue for Dolph, despite fighting his way up to World Championship status from cheerleader and caddy. Despite a great run on top of the mid-card, Ziggler has two of the least credibly presented world title runs in history and despite excellent promo work he became the boy who cried wolf as he lost title match after title match. As a fan, I wish Ziggler had left WWE a couple of years ago and moved on to a different promotion. But if he's happy carrying Goldberg to a fun segment and putting over Otis then I can't tell him he's wrong. 2024 Update: I wasn't happy to see Ziggler lose his job, of course, but the post-WWE run (which had dipped again after his NXT Championship reign) hasn't been a disappointment thus far. So far he has held five titles, including NJPW gold and two PWI recognised World Championships in AAA and TNA (his WSW title is also a fairly notable Australian title and SCX is a solid Indiana-based title)."

I think his time in WWE was a huge waste of his potential to be one of the faces of the company, but now I'm happy that he's reclaiming all that and becoming a multi-champion in other promotions. He's an excellent heel and one of the best sellers I've ever seen in the business, truly solid and memorable wrestler."

His run in NJPW has been unimpressive and his work in IMPACT and AAA has largely been lacking. He is currently an incredibly weak promo, something I don't remember being so bad in his WWE run, and his selling has been almost Michaels/Hogan levels of bad in Japan. For his early career he gains some extra points, but for his admittedly short run outside he gets knocked down at least a point."

[8.0] "One of my favorite wrestlers ever since I got back into wrestling in 2010. He sold me with his selling and his mat wrestling background and his series with Bryan in late 2010 cemented his place as new favorite wrestler and I've been a mark since. He knows how to tell a story just from his selling and has such a natural babyface way of selling. After his Survivor Series 2014 performance, he should have been a bonafide main event star but the powers that be just didn't want to pull the trigger. At least he had a great reign as IC champ during that time and brought some much needed prestige back to that title. I'm excited to see what he does in TNA and NJPW but he really needs to work on his strikes and get a new finisher because the Zig Zag / Danger Zone just is not emphatic enough to end matches, especially not in a promotion like NJPW."

I wouldn't say he was ever one of the best worker in the world. But he definitely had potential to be one if he had the window and proper platform to showcase that work rate. We may or may not still see a glimpse of that in the future if he ever decides to go do indies or NJPW."

[7.0] "He's a very, very solid wrestler who has it all aside from the one thing that really elevates a guy from being an solid worker to actual superstar (I know, WWE term but it's true.) I can't put my finger on what exactly he is "missing" but you look at somebody like Randy Orton, who isn't exactly the most exciting nor revolutionary wrestler, but it's a night and day difference between the two in regards to their ability to be a larger than life "superstar". Ziggler doesn't do anything overly exciting or noteworthy in matches, he's capable of having a good match and performing to a high standard, but he lacks that one thing. Now I'm writing this, I guess the one thing he's really missing is a good finisher? The Zig Zag just doesn't cut it, it's a very boring move and copying the Superkick isn't exactly going to do him any favours. Excited to see what he's going to do outside of WWE but he'll absolutely be doing the same old, same old moves and gimmick."

With how over he was in 2016 as a babyface, I believe that he deserved more than the Intercontinental title because both of his World Heavyweight title runs were pretty lackluster, especially the first one (if you can even call it a reign). But because of his bad booking towards the last year or two of his stint, he doesn't get as high of a rating from me as he would normally."

But one companies loss is another's to gain and there is much to be gained with Nic Nemeth. Has always been an undervalued performer and I can look forward now to see the matches I've always dreamed to see him wrestle against. Be it a singles run or a tag team with his younger brother Ryan, the man has yet to disappoint me."

This guy is a complete package, has the looks, has the physique, the in ring skills, mic skills but is severely underbooked. Has been a mid-carder for a long time now but still puts on bangers even now when he's way past his prime now. Sad to see how he puts so much into his craft yet is still underappreciated by WWE. I think he's still the record holder at Kent State for most career wins in the history of the school. Versatile in ring worker who can work with anyone on the roster, who has any kind of style, and have a great match whether he's the prima donna heel or the underdog babyface. Can put on match of the night candidates when given the proper time and allowed to. Great pacing in his matches, great timing, great facials, can bump real well, and his selling (while sometimes over the top) is some of the very best of the modern era. As a promo, I think he's excellent there too regardless of his role because wrestling is his passion at the core and the athlete in him makes him so competitive when it comes to it, and that side of him shines best on the mic."

From the perspective of recent years, it can be considered underappreciated, it is "thrown to be devoured" as the "first victim" for NXT players such as Nakamura, Corbin, Breeze and Roode.
