[8.0] "The Most underrated workers of her time. Behind the scenes becuses fir her name sge was the rossy turned to when stardom began and when marigold began the fact she was outsider in 90s Joshi and still gi picked up [out sider mening she was internally trained by JWP Zenjo or Gaea . Train In Judo by National Juf do champion Hidaka[ who later became wrestler.] and trained in wrestling by Hamaguchi Heigo[ Animal Hamaguchi] who at that time was not pro wrestling Trainer] Zenjo picked her up because of her ties to Hamguchi Kyoko. Was in one of the best A tag teams last years og Zenjo an the post Zenjo era NanaMomo She was the Nakajima of her time .highly consistent as both tag and Singles the only reason she not a 10 is the 2011-15 era whwre else only had one match id call great , some o that was not her fault personal mental Heath issues csues of Miscarriage she had but still art and artist separation is key for me] my rating is 7.6/10 rounded to 8 Highly constant workers but had some weaker parts of her run that run metered before and most of her Marigold run is enough ot 25 peratc or aorund that of her score."

[10.0] "Honestly one of my favourite wrestlers in recent times. I love the style she wrestles. The one problem I have with Nanae is she insists on screaming PASSION as loud as she can, I've seen some of her matches in person and once in the front row and my ears still haven't recovered. PASSION!"

[5.0] "Can she please just retire? Absolutely sick of her "passion" matches which is generally just an excuse for her to run roughshod over some newbies. When she wrestles someone better (like vs Maika) she looks absolutely off the pace and well past her prime."

[5.0] "Nanae is well past her prime. At the beginning of her career, she was one of the best wrestlers in All Japan Women. She was basically billed as the young ace. When the promotion died, she basically jumped from different promotions as a freelancer and tried to start on what ended up a failed promotion call Ms Style. Her major issues began when she joined Stardom. She basically used the promotion to make herself looked over from the novice talent at the time. Rather than helping young talent to improve, she made sure not to lose a match until her first lptitle loss to Alpha Female Jazzy Gabert. From there, she was partly responsible for the Yoshiko incident causing unrest in the locker room. Like Yoshiko, she quit Stardom rather than going rough a suspension and a pay wage cut. After going back to freelance and return appearances in Stardom, she still has a major issue putting herself over instead of younger talent at her advanced age. Old school mentality. Thats why rather than being one of the great Joshi wrestlers of all time, she prefers the spotlight on her."

[10.0] "Nanae's been going for nearly thirty years and has always given 100% no matter who her opponent was. Her, Meiko Satomura, & Emi Sakura were the ones who had to lead Joshi Puroresu through it's darkest least drawing period and the latter get more credit than Nanae, at least in the west. Nanae was the first World of Stardom champion, which at that time you couldn't pick a better first champion since she was the last WWWA World Single Championship of All Japan Women's. This reign (along with Fuka's coaching) would help her start the building blocks of what Stardom is today, you can see a lot of Nanae-ism in KAIRI, Mayu Iwatani, Giulia, hell even talents outside of Stardom like DASH Chisako remind me a lot of Nanae Takahashi. After an incident in Stardom she created Seadlinnng which is one of the best Joshi Indy's out there, her feud with Arisa Nakajima is legendary, and she even had intergender matches with Go Shiozaki & Masato Tanaka, She's a Beast. Her return to Stardom has had some mixed reception but I've enjoyed it quite a lot, Her Red Belt match with Syuri was one of my favorites of the year, and her tag team with Yuu is one of the best teams in Stardom's tag division. I adore Nanae Takahashi, her tremendous perseverance through depression is admirable and I'm glad she's still wrestling and I hope she's willing to wrestle for as long as she can, she's one of the best still going and has been for years."

"26 years into her career and still active, Nanae is trying to place herself as a wall in front of Stardom fighters nowadays (act more as a trainer than an opponent). I admire her for overcoming her depression and for having returned to the ring even after surgeries on her leg and which the doctors said she would probably never be able to fight again. She tries to involve the public in each fight regardless if they are in favor of her or not. Also I give her 9 for creating SeaD and due to the strong will for trying to promote more the Joshi (over Japan and over young future wrestlers)."

Also don't care for some of her decision-making over the years. Credit to her for creating SEAd, which is why I'm even giving her a 7."

[8.0] "Nanae is good, sometimes even great, but she's not currently at the level of a Nakajima or Yoshiko. Still, though, she does get some points for helping create a great promotion in SEAdLINNNG. Similar to Emi Sakura, she's helped improve the Joshi landscape as a whole."
ElPolloLoco wrote on 29.07.2020:
[7.0] "I know I am in the minority but I rank Nanae Takahashi one step below her contemporaries Emi Sakura and Kaori Yoneyama: my main bone with her is her very weird match pacing which becomes extremely noticeable in singles matches going over 15 minutes. She basically goes all out in the first five minutes and then runs out of ideas even before running of steam. That's why she was always better suited to tag matches and short singles sprints. One bonus point however because differently from wrestlers with a similar style (Hiroyo Matsumoto, I am looking your way) at least she always tries to give fans their money worth instead of suffering from the dreaded Masahiro Chono Syndrome."

She took some decisions, I still dislike today but she's a legend, she create a really good promotion and can put some tremendous matches so regardless of the woman, I put a 10 for the wrestler, and if you don't understand why ? Check her bout against Matsumoto or Nakajima this year."
