[7.0] "Momo Watanabe is good don't get me wrong and I remember in late 2020 I've actually had her as 10 back in the day but since then she's become complacent perhaps. I don't see the same wrestler here but fortunately she's gotten better the past few matches"

[6.0] "I can see why people like her, but I'm on the fence about Momo. She's really good, I'll give her that, but only with the right opponent. I've seen mostly okish matches from her instead of her great matches"

[10.0] "Well done to Momo for getting back to the top of the card again. It's long overdue & I can't wait to see the likely face turn in the next few months. In-ring there is nobody better in Joshi. Despite being a heel Stardom fans have been desperate to see her more featured & our prayers have been answered! I cannot remember a match with more emotion built in to it than the 5 Star GP 2025 final. As much of an Azumi fan as I am, I've never wanted someone to win a match as much as I did for Momo. Fingers crossed that this is the beginning of the true rebirth! Ganbare Momo!"

[9.0] "One of the best workers on the entire stardom roster her in ring work has always been consistent. I love her look and she has one of the best movesets imon the roster. The only down side is that she hasn't been booked to be in a important role since making it to the finals of the 2021 5 Star Grand Prix. I admit I loved the heel turn during the first Year, but they never put her in scenarios to look dominant despite being a OG of the company. She hasn't had any moment of glory outside of her monumental White Belt Reign."

[10.0] "If you aren't familiar with Momo Watanabe, then you are truly missing out on something special in Women's Wrestling. Whether she was playing the babyface in her legendary white belt reign or as a heel in Oedo Tai/H.A.T. E, Momo has truly been Stardom's sleeper ace in their roster, an absolute workhorse and seems incapable of having a bad match with anyone. She works her simple moveset in such a way that matches her deadly charisma/style and makes even the most basic techniques and strikes seem brutally effective. Sure, her presence may be slightly marred by the fact that she has yet to win another title in Stardom or other promotions, but she is more than ready to be the face of the company. She just needs Stardom to give her that long deserved, much anticipated push."

[10.0] "I don't have the words to describe Momo Watanabe greatness, just an unbelievable generational talent. Trained by Fuka, but you can see IO and Kagetsu worked with her early on. Had possibly the greatest Wonder of Stardom reigns ever, a prodigy talent at a young age. The best heel turn in Stardom history, broke my heart and many others too. Her character work is second to none and she's become a fantastic heel in Oedotai and now HATE. I wish she was booked better with Oedotai, but things are looking brighter now and we can only hope that big push is coming. She should be Ace of Stardom, top champ and leading the company. Though maybe she doesn't want that responsibility, she's more than capable of doing it. I'm sure the talent and staff believe in her, her Mentors certainly did and so do her fans."

[10.0] "Insanely good and shes incredibly young, been wrestling since 16 and is one of the best talents in stardom. Its a shame stardom just uses her as a jobber pretty much when she should easily be at the top of the company. Really hope she gets a huge push again like she she did earlier in her career cause she has only gotten better"

[9.0] "Momo Watanabe is great - she's incredibly smooth in the ring and always makes everyone around her look better. Good move set with some stiff kicks and brutal looking suplexes. The booking of Momo hasn't been great the last few years and Stardom see reluctant to give her a sustained push - no idea what they are waiting for, push her to the moon!"

[10.0] "She is 24 and she is already on the point where i can call her one of the best in ring talents joshi wrestling has. She brings a very different style, a stiff offense that is much more different than the usual forearm hits and all, she deserves so much better"

[10.0] "Still one of the best pure in-ring talents in Stardom. It's a shame how Rossy started dropping her, and Bushiroad isn't doing any better. She should not be in an unit that uses weapons, she should be wrestling clean red belt defenses as the champion. She should've never left QQ, and Rossy should've never thrown her aside for Utami (and i like Utami a lot). Momo is so talented, and despite being only 23 and her having a lot of time, i'm afraid that she might never recover from this horrible booking if they don't change soon, and that would be such an eternal shame because she deserves at least one red belt run, if not more."

[10.0] "The only bad thing about Momo Watanabe is her booking. Perfect wrestler that always delivers compelling character work whether as a face or a heel."

"Momo Watanabe is one of the best on the STARDOM roster. Her moveset is so simple it works well and it makes her on the best strikers in the company. Her work with Oedo Tai has been underwhelming however she is able to shine in singles competition during tournaments such as the 5 STAR Grand Prix, especially her 2023 performance. Her Queen's Quest era remains untouched as she was at the top of her game and arguably had the best Wonder of Stardom Championship reign. I hope with how the current STARDOM is, she gets pushed to the singles division again and finally capture the World of Stardom Championship."

[7.0] "Never really saw her work before Odeo Tai so maybe that's the reason why my rating is lower then others. She have a cool moveset but is held down by her heel style of wrestling"

[9.0] "One of the most underrated wrestlers in the world today. Was once touted as a future ace but others have leapfrogged her in the pecking order as far as bookings goes. Has thrown herself into the heel role and as a result her offence is even more brutal now than before. Hopefully she'll eventually get that red belt run that she deserves."

[6.0] "From a 10 to a 6- her OT run has absolutely killed her. She's now rubbish screwy matched with weapons/intereference. OT has helped push Starlight Kid up the roster, Momo is motoring down the card at speed."

"Really loved Momo during QQ era and the begining of the OT era but now she's getting more plain, more repetitive, and with the extra kg she puts on, she adds more botches, I really wish she'd straighten up and starts being her old self again"

[7.0] "Very good tag team wrestler, but in her tag team with Starlight Kid in Black Desire, she is very clearly in Kid's shadow."

[8.0] "Sometimes Momo really turns it up and feels like the big boss in Oedo Tai. Sometimes it feels like she can let her opponents and partners take the reigns and overshadow her somewhat. But I think when she's on her game, she's very good."

[7.0] "As other comments have stated, the previous incarnation of Momo had an easy claim to being one of the absolute best. I just do not like her current iteration; sure, her character work is great, but her in ring feels off, like if she's operating at 70% capacity. Hence the rating. The damn wrench nonsense doesn't help either"

[6.0] "If this was still 2019 Momo, easy 10. This version of her, really dating back to the return from the pandemic has been the definition of just there. She has great matches when she wants to but those get fewer and farther between. The Syuri match was a major letdown as that felt like a chance for a shot of energy and it wasn't. The heel turn, same thing. I am at the the point where I only care when its a Black Desire tag match and even then, I focus more when SLK is in the ring. That was kina the same problem in Queen's Quest with AZM. She is no more interesting now than she was at the end of the QQ run. I hope she finds that spark or motivation but it ain't there right now."

[6.0] "Yes Momo is the most wrestler that will make you say "someone delete this idiot's account! " , look, I clearly rate the wrestlers for what they are right now and in fact I give her 6/10 for what she is really just because I'm afraid to not comeback and change my mind about her in the future, but "Dark Momo" has completely transformed me from a "big fan" to "eh am not watching this sh! t." I can find many flaws that make her absolutely unsuitable to be in a heel faction like Oedo Tai, and the first and biggest is the look, In fact, I don't see her as a heel and Stardom's trying to change her look, looks pathetic because she really doesn't seem appropriate to be hated, and secondly, the clear less-size she's experienced since she joined Oedo Tai and I don't actually find much difference between her and Ruaka right now in terms of the role Even Ruaka has won more for Oedo Tai than her, overall Momo is more than excellent wrestler but I'm really annoyed with her current booking and I think she could be so much better than that."

[10.0] "I just re-viewed Momo's entire White Belt reign and suddenly realized that I still haven't given her the highest rating. Momo is a phenomenal wrestler. She is very smart and skilled for her age. Some people say she's lazy and doesn't want to improve, but I don't believe that. She always thinks about her character. At the age of 18, she got everything that any joshi could dream of and lived up to expectations with a great title-run. Then she seemed to (plotally) lose motivation and over time became something like an underdog who cannot win in an important match. So she went over to the dark side to get rid of the pressure of Queen's Quest. Thus, she proved that she can be different. People say that Momo's last years have been bad, but the truth is that every of this "bad" years, she delivers one of Stardom's top three or five matches. With the right push, she can become one of the greatest joshis."

[10.0] "One of the best wrestlers in the world today! She is a very versatile performer with an amazingly diverse move-set. Her character is awesome and she is currently doing great as a heel. One of my (many) favourite wrestlers in Stardom. Nothing against Natsuko but I would make Momo the leader of Oedo Tai!"

[10.0] "One of the best female wrestlers in the world. Her booking hasn't been good at all, but when she has a big match she ALWAYS delivers, no exception. Her match vs Syuri in the 5STAR GP Final is one of my favorites from this year. Has multiple bangers already for someone who is only 21, her 2019 match vs Jungle Kyona for the White Belt being my personal favorite. Amazing perfomer."

[8.0] "Momo's problem is that she has no desire in improvement. She had a chance to shine bright when she won a White belt, that reign was really great but after that she - the leader of one of the most succesful units in Stardom's history - became the shadow of herself. I hope she'll be able to find that desire sooner or later."

"Give her ten more years without injuries and she'll turn out one of the greatest joshi wrestlers ever."

[9.0] "One of the best and most consistent female in-ring performers in the world. Seems to be in the Gatekeeper role when she should be in the Main Events. Has potential to become the ACE of Stardom, but also has the potential to become the "Final Boss" of Stardom, due to her in-ring style, a somewhat bloodthirsty attitude toward opponents, a clear cut mean streak, & even seems to take delight in punishing opponents."

[9.0] "While she does lack a recognizable charisma that you'd look for in a WWE or AEW, you don't watch Momo for her character work. You watch her because she's one of the best wrestlers on the planet. And if I'm going to give a 9 to AZM, who's similarly understated, then why shouldn't I do the same for Momo? She's absolutely brilliant."

[9.0] "Momo rocks. What more is there to say? She's fantastic in the ring, carries herself well and is a future ace if given the chance. She's that good."

[10.0] "She is young and very good wrestler, true heart of stardom. prodigy. She must be the futur of the compagny and win the world of stardom championship."

[9.0] "Momo Watanabe's booking may have suffered since the loss of the White belt, but remains one of the best female wrestlers to watch with almost perfect in-ring mastery. I hope to bump this up to a 10 when she is able to gain the presence of "ace" that has eluded her for so long."

[10.0] "This woman can be so sweet and yet also be the biggest asshole in the company. Extremely talented, her striking game is on point and unlike what Ms. Hoshiki may say Momo's kick are not fake. She does have charisma just subtly being the most rude wrestler especially after BOTH of her white belt matches with Jungle Kyona. I think soon after Mayu retires she'll be the Ace, which will either take a year or a few years because you never know with Joshi Wrestling."

[10.0] "Incredibly talented, I really like her. Her title reign with the white belt in 2018 - 2019 was amazing, so many great defenses. Her striking is awesome, especially when she enters her killer mode. I hope she will continue to evolve and becomes the ace after Mayu in the future."

[10.0] "With just three years of experience she was thrown into the role of heir to Stardoms most dominating figure ever Io Shirai. She became the new ace of the promotion for quite some time until they put her back on the bench to focus on Mayu Iwatani instead. However she still holds the record of being the youngest Wonder of Stardom Champion ever as well as being the person to succesfully defend it for the most times at thirteen! She might have a hard time rigth now with DDM dominating everything an internal competition in fellow Queen's Quest member Utami Hayashishita. But she is still very young and therefore has the best chances to further her place in the Stardom history and record books and regain her place at the very top! 10 Points for Stardom's True Heart Momo Watanabe!"

[8.0] "Not much to say other than she's one of the absolute best in ring but hard to get too excited about in terms of personality to the point that even after losing Io, Kairi, Kagetsu, Hazuki, Arisa and (RIP) Hana her one time status as heir apparent to Io Shirai still seems very much up in the air."

[7.0] "She's a very good in-ring wrestler but she misses that certain "it factor", especially when put in singles matches. Whether this is because of her extremely young age or she just lacks that final 10%, we'll just have to wait and see."

[7.0] "I like Momo, but I think she tends to be overrated thanks in part due to how hard Stardom is backing her. After Io left, Momo was quickly slotted to be new new Ace of the promotion. But where Io gained that position naturally, it feels to me like it was thrust upon Momo. I don't see her being anywhere close to what Io meant to Stardom or what Tanahashi means to NJPW. He offense is rather one-note as well with the majority of it being kicks or strikes. Momo is still young, so I expect maybe one day she can be a leader for Stardom the way Io or Kairi were. But for now I don't think she's there yet. I think gils such as Arisa & Tam greatly outshine Momo is many different areas."

[8.0] "Really talented wrestler, good strikes and submissions skills. She has some consistency but I think she suffers of being chosen as the new face of Stardom. She's a bland and uncharismatic leader for her faction, it's even more blatant when she's teaming with Utami who is way more confident. Momo is still very young, so she can get better but she has the pressure of replacing Io Shirai and has to improve quickly."

[10.0] "Already one of the best female wrestlers in the world, Momo had a fantastic 2018 with fiery performances and great offense, and she continues to up the ante in 2019 with some really great matches including a MOTYC with Jungle Kyona. Has the potential to become one of the greatest of all time."

[9.0] "Ever since returning from injury in late 2017, Momo has been the most consistently good in-ring women's wrestler that I am aware of and more often than not is involved in the best match on any show she's on. The one thing she lacks at this point is a little charisma, as although she carries herself well, most of her pre-match promos are dull."

[9.0] "Momo started 2018 as a 17 year old who just came back after being out 10 months from a knee injury... She ends the year as "Big Match Momo", and unquestionably Stardom's next generation ace. She arguably had the best year of any joshi wrestler in 2018, putting on great match after great match. Crazy to think that at 18, she still has plenty of room for growth and improvement. The one thing she needs to work on is finding some charisma in her backstage promos, but once she gets in the ring she's among the best out there."

[10.0] "She is not that younger than I am and yet, she is quickly on her way to being one of the best women wrestlers in the world. Some great striking, the kicks in particular. Shown to be able to have different types of matches, dramatic ones, hard hitting bouts, the lot. She is excellent."

[10.0] "For me, the best female wrestler of 2018. Really good striker, good technique, she's not the best wrestler overall but she's only 18, so she will for sure be the best in maybe 4-5 years. That was a good call from Rossy to let her be the successor of Io Shirai she doesn't have the same abilities but she could be better for sure. For those who doubt about her check her bouts against Io and Mayu, she is tough and a real deal."

[9.0] "Her WoS reign has been awesome so far and is showing folks the promotion is in good hands with Io leaving. She's only 18 and having one of the best years of anybody right now. Hope she continues on her great run because she's already an absolute star"

[8.0] "Momo "Killer Dropkick" Watanabe is easily one of the best under 20 wrestlers in the world right now and her potential is in the stratosphere. OK, ok enough hyperbole. She really is someone to watch and expect great things from in the years ahead though. Glad to see her back from the ACL tear."

Great wrestler to start following over the next few years. Should be a top Stardom star in the next few years."
