Mason Ryan

[6.0] "Good physic and powerhouse but unfortunatelly he got stuck there, he had some good moves but failes to improve or depelop a character after the disband of The New Nexus, was hoping that his NXT run could do something for him, the start was good but then he.went to nowhere."

[3.0] "Often jokingly called the Welsh Batista, I was hyped by Mason Ryan when I was a kid and thought he could be a future star. I mean just look at him! He looked like a beast! Looking back, it's obvious that he really had nothing going for him besides his muscular looks, but just for how fondly I remember him despite not being good, I will always have a soft spot for Ryan."

[3.0] "The IWC really hit the zinger when they dubbed this guy "Welshtista" Literally looked like Batista and had none of the qualities Batista brought to the table. Dude gave up on the biz after just 8 years and his high point was being a filler body in the Nexus with CM Punk. Just another low midcarder on the roster. Wasn't flat out terrible, just there. The kind of guy you expect to be on the "future endeavor" list every year post Mania because the WWE has nothing for him."

[3.0] "Good powerhouse enforcer for a stable as he had the size and a few good power moves but could not advance beyond that due to being limited in the ring and on the mic. Had a great look for pro wrestling though"

[2.0] "Mason Ryan looked a lot like Batista, but without the mic skills and charisma, and couldn't be carried to a good match like he was either. A couple great power moves does not make a great power wrestler."

[2.0] "The body and his Side Slam finisher are the only impressive things about him. He's been giving off a Batista vibe, but Batista has always been miles ahead of him in every aspect of pro wrestling."

[1.0] "I echo what the last person said. His body is all he had. He looked like Batista but didn't have the same presence or in-ring abilities. He couldn't promo and had no charisma either."

[3.0] "I never liked anything about Mason Ryan and looked like an Off Brand Batista and wasn't in any memorable storylines except for helping CM Punk in the Royal Rumble in I think the 2011 Royal Rumble during The Nexus Era. Some people like him, some people don't and I guess I am one who just doesn't."

[3.0] "Looked like a million bucks and that's it. Mason Ryan looked like a Great Value Batista, never really showed charisma, and was pretty awkward in the ring. He had a nice Catatonic finisher, but that's the only thing notable I could say about his in-ring still. He was big and strong and not much else."

[1.0] "Discount bin Batista. Had a look... that's pretty much it. I would have liked to have seen something from him, but we never really did. He was part of the Corre, so he has the distinction of being a part of the worst named faction of all time."

[0.0] "It takes more than downing steroids and hitting the gym to make someone a wrestler. You have to actually work at it, to work on your craft. Mason Ryan didn't do this, and, despite being the kind of guy that causes Vince McMahon to down a dose of viagra and crack one off, he was sent on his way to great obscurity."

[7.0] "It was one of the best wrestlers of the FCW. He had great difficulty in WWE but I think it could become in the near to labor a great wrestler future."

[7.0] "I don't think Mason Ryan is as bad as a lot of people might make him out to be. Mason Ryan definitely has a hell of a look, hell of a build, he looks tall as hell, and he's not that bad of an in-ring worker. I think Mason is a pretty decent worker in the ring. However I feel the only unfortunate part about Mason Ryan right now is that his character has become pretty dry and I'm just not too into him anymore like I was in FCW in late 2010 when he was the FCW champion and when he got called up in 2011 and was a part of CM Punk's New Nexus. It's really a shame, but whoever's decision it was whether it was WWE's or Mason Ryan's himself, I'm glad he's back down in developmental in NXT so he can try to become better than he is right now and I really hope he's able to become a better character and we'll see him on the main roster again."
