[6.0] "Is Mahiro a great wrestler? No, she is not. Her moves lack impact and she is pretty awkward. Yet between herself and TJPW they have managed to role with her unnaturalness in the ring and generally trepidness and forge her into an entertaining character that strongly contrasts almost every other woman in the company."

[9.0] "love the "normal girl" character, and the apology kneeling gimmick. she makes me laugh, and she's trying new stuff in the ring. she's really grown in the last 2 years and it makes me so happy. minus one point for being a Schalke 04 fan. (jk)"

[10.0] "There is no other character in wrestling quite like Mahiro in my opinion. A genuine one of a kind persona, with the social akwardness to always being left out by the other members of the roster, she can elicit sympathy but can also heel it up with a comedic tinge when she wants to as well. When required, Passion Blue can also put on as good a match as anyone on the night, with a power-type moveset and some cool finishers. I always look forward to Mahiro's matches and of course, the big apology!"

[10.0] "Mahiro is excellent, and quite underrated I think! She does amazingly in both face + heel roles, and has just been getting better and more creative in her spots recently! She can be easy to root for, she can be delightful to boo, and it can be joyous to laugh when she's being comedically tortured (#stopMahirobullying2025)... she's really blossoming into her own role in Teej and I love watching her - I'm a huge fan!"

[7.0] "She does well with her gimmick, the straight man in the mad and zany world of TJPW. Always gets the short end of the stick and then blamed for it. Leading her to apologise to everyone in the ring, which is always great. I hope she just turns heel on everyone for all the punishment she's taken. TJPW could use a good heel and she's got everything you'd need for it."

[7.0] "Mahiro being the role of a normal person in the chaotic world that is Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, just works... Please Forgive me for not rating her higher"

[7.0] "Mahiro's one of those wrestlers who feels like she has a lot of potential in her gimmick that is yet to be fully realised. She's TJPW's straight man, permanently perplexed by the antics of her opponents and teammates, forever apologising for the punishment she dishes out between the ropes. It's a tough gig to be the only "normal" person in the room. Mahiro's in-ring work, like many on the TJPW roster, is solid but unspectacular. Recently, I feel like Mahiro's been positioning herself more and more as being exasperated by the constant chaos of TJPW's shows, to the point where it feels like moving towards being a more heel-ish character could work really well for her. TJPW and Japanese wrestling tends to steer clear of face-heel dynamics but there is a noticeable lack of real villainy on the roster, especially following Sakisama's retirement. Mahiro may not be the obvious choice to take up that mantle but I have sneaking suspicion that it would really take her to the next level."

[7.0] "Mahiro Kiryu is certainly not the best wrestler in TJPW, bot definitely one of the most interesting and endearing. Her character of a normal person among a roster of very gimmicked wrestlers make her stands out in a clever way. She uses her past as an office worker through her trademark apology and diligence in helping others. While she sometimes looks clumsy and out of place in-ring, she is a capable wrestler, slow but with good timing and some pretty impactful moves. One of the most overlooked wrestler of TJPW undercard."

[7.0] "Credit to TJPW, they turned Mahiro's normal nature, at least compared to the majority of the roster, into an actual gimmick and it works perfectly. She's improved in the ring along the way, but her schtick makes her stand out in her own way. It took time, but she's grown on me and I'm a fan now."

[4.0] "I don't think the "only normal person in TJPW" gimmick is necessarily a bad one, but as of right now she just comes off as having no personality in a promotion full of big bright colorful ones. Worse still, she's incredibly stiff and limited in the ring."

[4.0] "She still moves very slow and gets lost easily. She is fine for the opening match level of the card, but not past that."

[6.0] "Mahiro Kiryu is pretty good in the ring but also unspectacular. She does not really stand out in any facet of wrestling and does not seem to have a strongly defined character, which hinders her in TJPW, where character and storytelling are emphasized more than in-ring work."

[6.0] "Kiryu is pretty solid, if not a little underwhelming. She's only been wrestling for a little over 2 years, so I have little doubt that she'll improve and become a better all-around wrestler."
