[2.0] "Didn't really stand out at all beyond, an imposing figure. She was horrible on the mic and her unnatural screaming and "crazy gimmick" antics were never up to snuff or good as someone as say Daffney, Sherri Martel or Victoria. I know women's wrestling was in a pretty bad state of mind back then but, back then everything was more about flash, being fun, and being over the top with some craziness to enjoy. Never was Luna's "craziness" the least bit interesting or fun and every single match she (regardless of if her competition was bad or not) was terrible and it can't all be based on who she was competing in the ring, as she was just as bad, if not worse then them."

[10.0] ""My clit is better than your fucking Dick" summarizes female empowerment Luna has brought to the Industry dominated by men. You can tell Luna was the inspiration for all of these female wrestlers with the facepaint, acting all crazy and wild, demonic and satanic. Luna was the blueprint. The original. The most unique female in wrestling history. Just to share, Actually read a story from Madusa recently; she said that during her time as Alundra Blayze she tried to persuade Vince McMahon to let Luna have a short run as women's champ because the two of them were close and she felt Luna deserved it. But Vince turned her down, saying he had no plans for it. So one night before a show Madusa told Luna she intended not to kick out of a pin-she was going to let Luna have the title regardless. Luna was moved to tears by the gesture but persuaded her to got through with things as planned."

[9.0] "Luna Vachon was iconic and she was better in the ring than you might first perceive. Probably her best match was the steel cage match against Steven Richards in ECW because WWF underutilized her in the ring in favor of Alundra Blayze and later Sable. Incredibly influential, unforgettable, and just incredible as a total package - there will never quite be another Luna Vachon."

[5.0] "Ring skills weren't the best but her look and persona was revolutionary when we had a lot of zero personality Women wrestlers from the Fabulous Moolah era."

[7.0] "Woman with a hard fate who was able to find herself in wrestling. Luna started her career on the independent stage, managed to perform in AWA and become a member of the Army of Darkness, but she achieved the biggest success in World Wrestling Federation, where she stood out very much from the rest of the women's division. She created a memorable and unique character that absolutely suited her - Luna became one of the most frightening and creepy wrestlers of that time, able to inspire fear just by reading a promo. Excellent hit in the gimmick, 7 points."

[9.0] "She was a strong wrestler but more importantly has one of the most distinctive looks and personalities in wrestling history, male or female. She truly left a mark. RIP"

[8.0] "Whatever Luna did, she went ALL IN. Sometimes she was given garbage, and would run with it full steam anyway; unfortunately that would somewhat define her career: cruddy angles. Ring work: Solid. Mic work: total confidence, Gimmick Commitment: 200 out of 10, Career trajectory: spotty/dodgy. Her facial expressions were off the charts and those bellowing snarls were iconic. She had chemistry with many, unfortunately this was used mostly to exploit her talents (ie: the Sable feud). The best way I could sum up her career is unfortunately "mishandled" but you still can not take away from her in ring work ethic, because she excelled."

[8.0] "A trialblazer in women's wrestling. Unique look, character, and promos. Solid enough in the ring to make her among the best of her era."

[3.0] "Some of her promos were cool, and she had a cool haircut, but that is about it. Her in-ring work was poor. Her wrestling consisted only of crappy brawling. She is only considered a "legend" by some people because back in the 1990s, American wrestling had not reached the levels it would start reaching in the 2010s, so Luna was often the default heel in the women's wrestling division at the time."

[5.0] "Could have been big if isn't wasn't for Vince McMahon and Vince Russo's treatment of women in the 90s to early 2000s. She wasn't very pretty but great wrestler, and that's why she never was really pushed."

[5.0] "If wrestling at the time gave a crap about female wrestlers, Luna could've had a solid career IMO. It's honestly a bit of a shame how poorly she was used, but at the same time, I guess that was more of an industry issue than a WWF specific issue."

[8.0] "Considering the era she wrestled in, she was a stand-out female wrestler when there were few to be had. Her gimmick was unique and memorable, and her work with Bam Bam Bigelow was particularly fun. It's a shame she never held the WWF Women's belt."

[9.0] "Luna was one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. And just a really awesome person. Always put in 100%. She should have been a champion!"

[8.0] "Underrated big time. She is one of the best. Great valet she was and looked very scary. Great at her heel role. She came form the Vachon family. Very technical and her moves were fabulous. She was a strong fighter. She should have been WWE Women's champion."

[8.0] "An unappreciated wrestling great, and one of the original 'anti-Divas' who paved the way for the likes of Nikki Cross today. She was never given a run with the WWE Women's title, but was a highly capable wrestler, a memorable manager and one of the most charismatic females in the business. Luna deserved so much more. In spite of the lack of proper recognition, Luna still managed to work for 'the big three' in the 90s (WWE, WCW and ECW) at different periods where she got to showcase her talents. She really did Mad Dog, Butcher and Vivian proud carrying on the Vachon legacy."

[8.0] "A great wrestler from a long line of wrestlers, Luna was a tough as they come, but out of the ring was actually a very nice person. I have a personal friend who traveled with her, and he always tells me what a fantastic person she was. RIP Luna, you may be gone but you sure aren't forgotten."

[10.0] "You want a true "anti-diva" then look no further, Luna was as wild and as tough as they came and took no shortage of opportunities to prove that fact. WWF and other companies didn't always use her in the greatest ways, but she always gave 110% and in my opinion always added a big positive to anything she was a part of. And, though this is not my biggest concern, I honestly find her fairly attractive for whatever that's worth. Awful that she is no longer with us, she was one of a kind."

[10.0] "Rest in Peace Luna Vachon. A generational female grappler, Luna's presence in women's wrestling history is still felt to this very day, especially towards "different" women's wrestlers, who probably take a lot of hints from Vachon's fantastic work as the ever over the top ultimate bad girl. Although she had to work with awful people like Sable, Luna Vachon will be remembered most for her big character and her lovely personality."
