[6.0] "He's a perfectly fine larger man. His character is fun & his ring quality is good enough for what his character is. Not everyone's gotta be Kurt Angle."

[7.0] "I love that big flippy shit guy. Luchasaurus is a hell of a wrestler, either as a heel working with Christian and face working with Jack Perry. I just think that his gimmick is it, something that can NEED another wrestler well booked than him at his side to work. Imagien Luchasaurus in a single run don't move me at all."

[8.0] "Really was born 20 years too late. A 6'5, 275lb dinosaur who can do a double chokeslam, standing moonsault and dyes his beard green, 90s McMahon would have blown his load everywhere & made him a top guy. Can be erratic, at his best a one man wrecking machine, when he's off though 3 mistakes a match. More consistent is that he's a popular and engaging big guy who I can't help but pop for."

[6.0] "Unfortunately WWE released him for a reason - he's big and impressive looking but the wrong side of 30 and limited in the ring - too many attempts for Lucha style moves and in a tag team his weaknesses are hidden. Not awful but he's a midcard guy with a goofy gimmick. Working with Christian as the enforcer of the Patriarchy he's solid enough but the mask and silly gimmicks will continue to limit him and he's too old for a breakout moment on an already swollen roster"

[6.0] "Unfortunately he gets treated like a idiot in every promotion he goes because he is just there to provide "tall guy impressive flippy spots". could of have some potential being untapped here but really, this character just isn't gonna get you to the top of the card is it?"

[9.0] "Luchasaurus/Killswitch is brilliant. He's a big guy that knows how to use his size and do impactful moves, but also has the agility to do moonsaults and move around really easily, which is a struggle for a lot of big men. I'm always entertained by his matches which, again, considering his size, says a lot."

[4.0] "I think he was fun in the Jurassic Express but he's been going downhill for a while. I like big monster dudes, but he's got the modern idea of "I'm athletic so that automatically makes me Vader.", but his high flying and kicks for that matter are so slow. He moves like a dinosaur trapped in a tar pit. And when he does throw dudes around, it's not very destructive looking. And now they want him to just be Kane which is ridiculous considering his dinosaur get up, I think he fills that Tomko role alright as Christian Cage's heavy, but he shouldn't ever get pushed for more than what he's doing now."

[7.0] "This is one of the times I wish I could give a .5 because Luchasaurus (sorry for dead naming) is pretty much a 7.5 overall. Kind of a great value Kane, he can do a lot of the more impressive things that Kane could, and he's also a great tag team partner to have. Doesn't have half of Kane's natural charisma though, because otherwise he would have been a world champion by now, seems to be satisfied right now with his giant henchman role, but you don't get the feeling of support for his eventual face turn like you do with a Kane, Batista, even Wardlow type."

[6.0] "A good powerhouse with an early Kane vibe these days. The Luchasaurus is a good character and it works. He's pretty solid."

[7.0] "It's pretty easy to think of Luchasaurus as a young Kane with a goofy name because he's kind of booked like that but at least in the past couple of years he's had some time to shine and show he's got more going on than that. He's remarkably athletic for guy his age and size, his promos don't even matter because he works the "giant lizard man" gimmick way better than you'd think with the sounds he makes and his body language, and he can work smaller guys over pretty damn well while being ready for big spots; he's had a handful of great singles matches recently. I think the breakup of Jurassic Express has shown that there may be more upside in this guy than Jungle Jack, even with the silly name."

[7.0] "When he was teaming with Jungle Boy, he was a bit dull and was always doing the same stuff in every matches but since he turned heel and is allied with Christian Cage, he became more interesting and plays perfectly well his unstoppable monster character. Though his alliance with Christian Cage looked like a stupid idea at first, it works perfectly well and helps Luchasaurus to find a really compelling character. He's a good worker as well, he can deliver good matches and his offense is brutal like he should be for a monster like him. A really fun worker to watch."

[4.0] "His body is absolutely tremendous and I feel like the whole dinosaur mask is holding him back massively because the goofiness of it takes away from the fact he'd be a huge imposing bodyguard type like Diesel. His in-ring work is incredibly basic though and although he's not horrific, needs to be led through matches of more than a few minutes."

[5.0] "Sloppy in ring and not very compelling as a (mostly) solo act. No reason for him to be a singles champion and with a name like Luchasaurus does not make a scary threatening monster heel as it screams Saturday Morning kids cartoon."

[8.0] "I really enjoy Luchasaurus' style of wrestling, and his ring gear is so awesome in My opinion. I am so happy for him that he finally won a single championship, and I Hope he can put a little bit of prestige back to the TNT title."

[8.0] "Liked Luchasaurus on Big Brother, Lucha Underground and All Elite wrestling. He is a good mobile big man which is great. On the mic he is fine but is definitely better with a mouthpiece."

[8.0] "What is AEW doing to Luchasaurus? He was one of the most over guys 2 years ago and now I don't even care about him"

[6.0] "At first I thought this guy was a tag specialist, but his feud with Jungle Boy really showed that he can make a compelling singles story. He's got good athleticism and a great look. Might need a new gimmick, but I can definitely see a future for him as a singles guy."

[9.0] "I used to think this guy was just about his copy and paste hot tag but he has looked amazing in recent months with the Jungle Boy/Christian feud being one of the best parts of AEW as of late. Love his dinosaur gimmick too but maybe he should have switched to a carnivore mask upon turning heel?"

[8.0] "He is a very talented wrestler especially for his size. He should be a main eventer in the near future."

[6.0] "Luchasaurus is able to do a lot of things a guy of his size should not be able to do. He seems to be a solid all arounder too. Besides that, I don't find him to be a particularly compelling performer."

[7.0] "Injury prone big man who needs to stop the high flying stuff, everyone in AEW can do the high flying stuff he does, and better, it? s not special when he does it because we? ve seen it already. If he just stuck wrestling like a big man than he would be better, and luckily, it looks like that? s the direction he? s heading in with Christian as his manager. Excited to see where this goes"

[7.0] "In Tag Team he has done it and he does it very well, together with Jungle Boy they have managed to position themselves on several lists of the best tag team matches in AEW history. Talking about him, he is physically imposing, he is tall and muscular, he is a wrestler, who, due to his gimmick, always has to depend on someone to speak for him on the mic. We will have to see how well it goes his gimmick as a Monster heel, having Christian Cage as the manager."

[5.0] "At first I was a fan of Luchasaurus but now I just roll my eyes every time I see this guy stumble through his spots in tag matches. Don't get me wrong, when he's on the ball and just wreaking havoc he's pretty entertaining to watch. But like most of the modern big guys who insist on doing these crazy high spots regardless if it makes sense or not, Luchasaurus is prone to just mirror his tag partner who's half his size. While the gimmick may be a bit goofy for some, I think Luchasaurus pulls it off because of how physically imposing he is. That said, I wish he'd simplify his moveset a bit because his power moves look impressive but he often gets lost trying to do these intricate sequences that are inexplicably required of him to follow through with."

[6.0] "Some of the guys here below already clarified the problem with botchasaures because he's careless and dangerous, he might thinks he is a passionate but he made disasters out of simple moves."

[4.0] "Yeah, the guy below sums up pretty much all of my issues with this guy. I really enjoyed watching him all the way back in DoN 2019 but he does the same damn thing every match and the moonsault, the strikes, everything has lost all its luster since all of his matches look the same. He doesn't try, and it shows. Hager, Archer, Cage, and maybe Hobbs in a few years are the big guys AEW should focus on, forget green dino."

[5.0] "Luchasaurus is cool the first time you see him. Then you see him a thousand matches down the line and realise that he cannot wrestle any two matches differently, and that he is simply a spotfest-wrestler that is either incapable or unwilling to display any psychology or tell any engaging story in the ring. Yeah, the guy can hit moonsaults and roundhouse kicks, but he'll just hit those same few moves in every single performance he ever gives, and they come off of the exact same hot tag he always gets too. To make things worse, he's also become far sloppier with his offence in the last year or so, and when paired up against/alongside better wrestlers it becomes quite obvious how slow and ungraceful his move-execution is. He always gives off the impression like he's going over-the-top showing off his athleticism in order to say "WOW I'm a heavyweight... BUT I'm athletic AND agile too! Aren't I UNIQUE and don't I just do EVERYTHING imaginable? ". His style is just far too overt and based solely around his spots. I don't know if he actually has the ability to tell a story or show any sort of psychology in a match. He feels like a guy trying way too hard to appeal to people by covering every single base possible, which results in his work and character itself coming across hollow. He's lucky he has got Jungle Boy's coattails to ride at the moment, because I don't see any interesting direction he could go if separated from him."

[7.0] "His leg injury seems to have left a mark because he's definitely lost a step since then, but he's still really over and a fun hot tag."

[6.0] "Luchasaurus has a really cool look, but that's about it for me. I've never been all that impressed with his in-ring work, except for some moments in tag matches with Jungle Boy"

[4.0] "Good in a tag match with limited involvement and a big comeback but he's a pretty bad wrestler all things considered, he's very clunky and his strikes look terrible. For a man his size he should really be focusing on power moves and being a big, immovable guy, not trying to jump all over the place. Functionally fine but he doesn't work well in singles and for a guy who's been wrestling for 12 years, he really doesn't act like it."

[2.0] "Initial reaction to Luchasaurus was positive, impressive at first seeing a legit 6'4 big man wrestling like a cruiserweight, but he has he been atrocious on a regular basis since. Zero coordination, sloppy worker with enough botches to keep Botchamania in business by himself. The novelty gimmick quickly wears off, and behind it is a seriously poor worker."

[2.0] "I liked Luchasaurus at first but over time I become less and less enamoured with him. He's a terrible big man, wrestling like a cruiserweight for no apparent reason. Athletically impressive, sure, but other than that he doesn't have much going for him. Can't wrestle, can't talk, no facials with that terrible mask. Poor."

[9.0] "A very agile big man with a varied move set. The gimmick is silly, but that's the point. He can move, he can work, and with the right booking, he can be one of the top guys in a promotion."

[10.0] "Luchasaurus is one of the hottest acts in wrestling right now, he's very agile despite his size and has a great look with a gimmick he pulls off very well. His gimmick shouldn't really work but the crowd absolutely love him and is arguably the most popular wrestler in AEW."

[8.0] "For a big man, he's really good. I watched him work with Jungle Boy at a Bar Wrestling show before AEW was a thing & I was immediately drawn to the duo. As great as Lucha Underground was & as that company really invented this character, it was not fully realized until after LU went away. There's a really fine line to walk with it going forward though so that it does not stray into the pure comedy realm. In ring, he's really agile & has some great kicks. One to watch in AEW."

[8.0] "Luchasaurus really looks very unusual and impressive for his height. His moveset is so various. He can do both technical and browling moves. Also his team with Jungle Boy is pretty cool and interesting. Hope his career in AEW will be successfull"

[7.0] "He is an agile big man who capable to have good match with the right person. He definitely have a different looks and his work with Lucha Underground really help him to gain attention from wrestling fan. But yeah, I hope he can improve himself more than now."
