His match at John Cena's farewell show was the last drop of my patience: his place in this card can be taken by the man, who is in NXT roster and who deserves more^ Hendry, Borne, Heights - oh my god, there are more deserving wrestlers than him."

Leon Slater is a really great wrestler and he is still only 21, I can see him joining the WWE in the near future (unfortunately). Personally I think he'd thrive CMLL, if they gave him an honest shot. He's got fantastic athleticism, a great move set, and a real connection to the crowd. I think if he works on his character work more he could be really brilliant and become the full package."

However I have not seen any wrestling in the sense of a storied fight from this guy, what I have seen is choreographed fights, planned out so that frankly unimpressive (compared with what wrestling has lots of these days) acrobatic manoeuvres can be done in his matches. Hopefully the TNA experience will give him a break from a UK scene that is getting tired of him and let's hope while he's there he learns how to have wrestling matches in the style of storied fights rather than choreographed acrobatics."

Speaking of Ospreay, his match with Slater was excellent. I think all agree that keeping up with Ospreay in the ring is not an easy task, and Slater did precisely that. That match turned a lot of heads toward Slater. He is able to develop a fanbase with his excellent ring work, his cool attires, his visibly admirable charisma, and his great versatility. Although he is only 19 years old, I can see him being a big star within the next 3-5 years (or even sooner! )."

Better moves, more charisma, more athletically gifted, better selling which means he can play the underdog role better, hes just more advanced at this point in time. He still needs to work on his psychology and could get more versatile but as it stands, Leon is already a good wrestler, and looks bound to be better."
