[10.0] "One of the greatest wrestlers of all time, The King of Hawaii, has influenced people like Bruiser Brody, Abdullah the Butcher, Kevin Sullivan, Superstar Billy Graham, and many others. He showed an excellent sense of style along with a very distinct charisma. Given that the King's influence extends outside of America to Japan and other countries, it would be wrong not to value and honor him I hope that the current generation will go and watch his match and learn the basics and arts of wrestling that we are missing now."

[2.0] "In his earliest days he looked like Samoa Joe crossed with first weeks of Yokozuna. Went onto be one of the prototypical brawling (semi)savages. Influential to Bruiser Brody, Abdullah the Butcher and many more. Problem is, I'm not really into that. There is a bigger problem though; sometime after The Grand Wizard of Wrestling passed away (damn, rest in peace to a really cool manager) ol' Curt here was apparently possessed by an element of the Grand Wizard's spirit (yeah) and here is where he went WAY off the rails and annoyed millions into scrambling for mute then and fast forward now. In the cartoon era of the WWF and later the cartoon era of WCW, he was obnoxiously loud and random but mostly very VERY loud. My vote for the most annoyingly clamorous voice in all of wrestling's deep history. Like, THE worst, of aaaall of the terrible to choose from. There is a crowd for the early stuff but I ain't it."

[7.0] "King Curtis Iaukea definitely deserves a higher rating. I'm guessing most reviews are based off his managing days in WWF and WCW in the 1980's-90's. Take it back to the 1960's-1970's territory era of pro wrestling to really see what Iaukea was about. Promo style influenced Randy Savage as well. Iaukea was a bloodthirsty heel primarily on the western side of the United States. He was one of the key parts of Jim Barnett's Australian territory, WCW, as well. The Australia territory drew major money. King Curtis Iaukea, like much of the pro wrestlers that worked the territories in Hawaii, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver...ETC...is very underrated."

[8.0] "Sadly, I have mostly watched his time as a manager but he was a brutal wrestler. He was a solid heel with Sullivan outside of WCW but the master stuff was really bad. It was so bad infact he just disappeared. I have seen he use to be a vicious heel that stabbed people, talk about Abdullah the Butcher much but he was better."

[8.0] "Underrated! ? Why so low? He was an amazing wrestler. Maybe its because they only remember him as a manager in NWA, WWF and WCW. Very fast and quick. One of the best Hawaiian wrestlers. He was a great heel. Scary as well. One wrestling's most feared men. His scars on his forehead. The noises he made in the ring and how he charged at people. He is very similar to Abduallah the Butcher with stabbing the fork into opponents. Another pioneer of hardcore wrestling."

[10.0] "How is King fucking Curtis Iaukea rated so low? Because of the Dungeon of Doom or his WWF Run? If so, even though both were short-lived, he still cut the best promos on every show he was on. This monster could sell out arena with one devious snarl or scowl, yet he still possessed the ability to cut some of the all-time most powerful promos in wrestling history. His in-ring run was legendary, as was his run as a manger. Truly one of the underrated great heels of classic wrestling."

[6.0] "im not sure he was the best manager ever for a national promotion like wwe or wcw... but he was good enough to get jobs in both. he was more suited i think for a territory where he could be involved in a blood feud. as a wrestler... i missed his prime. he was broken down and grossly out of shape by the time i saw him but in his peak i understand he was something... a first generation samoan type powerhouse. personally i found him an interesting manager for a kevin sullivan type wrestler."
