[6.0] "Like the rest of the mean street posse, Joesph Abdominals - to give him his full name - was a good bit of mindless fun, never meant to be a serious in ring competitor and added a good bit of comedy to the product. Served a purpose, ultimately"

[5.0] "Joey Abs was honestly the best member of the Mean Street Posse in terms of wrestling ability. He was the only one who had prior wrestling experience and wasn't a real life Shane McMahon friend. He was a decent wrestler, it sucks WWF never had anything for him worth note."

[2.0] "The three Mean Street Posse boys are all kind of hard to differentiate as an actual talent. They all had variations of the same look, with the sweater vests and anonymously bulky physiques, they all had similar plodding in-ring styles, and all a similar lack of charisma. Joey Abs is interesting, because he wasn't in the original Posse that showed up, and appears to be a legit wrestler (kind of) rather than one of Shane's buddies, and it sort of shows. He probably had the best look of the trio, being actually somewhat imposing, and probably a mild step up in in-ring ability thanks to having more real training. He still wasn't good, though, and I don't know that he ever really got a chance to show anything on the mic either. I mean, his bit pretending to be Mick Foley before Big Show killed him was kind of fun? Barely."

[2.0] "He played his role well but man was he a charisma vacuum. The worst of the 3 Mean Street Posse members"

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 26.04.2015:

[3.0] "Already an experienced wrestler, Joey Abs was brought in to be the "ringer"/"real wrestler" for the Mean Street Posse trio. Fine in that role, but the Mean Streeters really were just jobbers and thus we maybe didn't get a chance to see what he could really do, and he never really got a chance to transition to anything bigger on the grand stage."

[6.0] "I always enjoyed the Mean Street Posse, but Abs was clearly the most experienced and capable of the group. Too bad he didn't get much of a chance to show it in WWE."

[3.0] "Joey was the only one from the Mean Street Posse who could have a semi-decent match."
