[8.0] "Homicide in 2003 was one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, his style of a brawling wrestler who knew all the moves (literally would bust out random joshi movesets in every match), all of them and could do whatever it took to win just worked so well. He was believable, passionate and relentless. He very clearly was inspired by so many japanese wrestlers, from Megumi Kudo, to Masahiro Chono and Satoshi Kojima then drew roots from American legends like Terry Funk, Eddie Guerrero and Abdullah the Butcher and it made for a complete package - the man who could literally do it all. Once TNA took hold he lost a little of his charm, there is no distinct feud that people can hark back to while there as all of his successes came prior in ROH and luckily he was able to ride on those performances for the rest of his career. He deserves more in terms of recognition for his contributions to the indy scene, he helped mold it just as much as Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe."

[7.0] "Homicide is tough to rate - he was king of the indies with an impressive ROH run, but kept trying to make it work in TNA and was one of many to suffer from their disastrous booking."

[9.0] "My Rating 9.0 Homicide is a legend of the indies. I remember fondly watching his matches in JAPW. I didn't realize he had retired until I saw it on this website today."

[9.0] "Since JAPWs 12th of September 1997 show in Bayonnes charity hall, Homicide aka Nelson Rodriquez Erazo wrestled amount of 1340+ matches in his 28 year career. His tag team run in TNA part of the original LaX given him a ID of good wrestling but most of his career was violence, forks, screaming and Beanie Sigel beaming over the speakers. His first ROH run as a OG made an impact later on just before defeating Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Title in the rotten apple. The most dangerous finisher in all of pro wrestling remains as the cop killa, vergabreaker. He became a veteran guiding or training the likes of Eddie Kingston, Low Ki, Steve Mack, Justin Cage & Deklan Grant. His looks are nothing to paise at but clearly made his street fight take no prisoners rottweiler attitude take fans to the ghetto. He has a way to let fans see the world through his eyes anytime he steps in the ring. His final match takes place today tagging with Bull James and wrestling Afa Jr and LaXs Mike Santana. Granizo Borinquen Homicidio 5150, Gracias Campeona del mundo. Disfruta el resto de tus días. Notorious 187!"

[9.0] "Homicide is one of the most underrated to ever do it, imo. He's pigeonholed as a brawler, and while he's an amazing one at that, that's not who he is. Underneath that perception is a fantastic wrestler and storyteller who hung with the absolute best of his generation . Ci rules, and everyone should say it."

[8.0] "At a time when tag wrestling was in the shitter across all federations, LAX was one of the best things going. They felt real & raw. Not only did they have an exceptional gimmick with a unique presentation, but the two guys worked really well off one another in the ring. Homicide with the speed & Hernandez with that power. Everything down to the names of their moves (Gringo Killer, for instance) was amazingly put together. Where Hernandez kind of lacked as a solo act, Homicide was a real player. Fast paced & well skilled in the ring, my favorite spot that Homicide would do is the suicide flip dive out of the ring. He did it with such aggression."

[7.0] "An ROH original that essentially lost all his momentum the moment he went to TNA, which is a shame because the guy was a great heel foil for faces like Cabana or Joe. He was a good face too (and over as hell during 2006 in particular). Hes definitely not one of the better wrestlers in Ring of Honor but he made up for it with his character. He was just as important to the development in ROH as Low Ki or Christopher Daniels, just as an undercard guy. Its really a shame he never got a chance to reach his potential."
Paul Allain wrote on 30.12.2013:
[5.0] "Homicide can sometimes excite crowds into absolute Frenzy, but his inconsistent in doing so. If the people are not solidly behind him, his gangsta act and brawling come off very weak and dull. He nis stuckin the weird limbo were he is good enough to deserve a chance, but not consistent enough to convert it into stardom. A shame for sure..."
