[8.0] "A very good big man type wrestler and I enjoy his singles matches when he has one. Not often but still."

[7.0] "Viking raiders/War Raiders are a good tag team, I like watching them, they are fun, and cool characters"

[6.0] "I've never been too much a fan of War Machine. Or the War Raiders. Or the Viking Experience. Or the Viking Raiders. But they are a true tag team during a time when those are needed. So that in & of itself makes them a welcome part of the roster. But beyond them being a good part of a tag division, I find them kind of lame. I know they try to push Ivar as a big man who can move, but I don't see him as able to shine with that idea. Even though he does that pretty shitty cartwheel."

[7.0] "Severely underrated. The things he can do his size is unbelievable. You want a big strong brute type? Sure, he can do that. But you want a giant with light heavyweight agility? Ivar is your man. Easily the better half of The War Raiders, not that Erik is bad by any means. He is a believable contender in both the tag team and singles divisions."

[8.0] "The better member of War Raiders, he moves incredibly well for a Big 40 years old man, and he is a good wrestler in the ring, whether as singles or tag wrestler"

[7.0] "Really good tag team wrestler. Great chemistry with Erik. Moves outrageously well for a 40-year-old man of his size. Cool to see him become a tag champion again."

[8.0] "A shame he's injured because man, what a singles run he had. It's really a shame because right now he would probably be in a feud with Pete Dunne or Sheamus. I hope he's back soon."

[9.0] "Ivar is in my opinion one of the most underrated people in WWE. His singles run once Erik was out of with an injury was very solid. In NJPW he was awesome, in NXT he was awesome, and on RAW since Triple H allowed him to rock as a singles star he has been very great in my opinion. Sucks he's injured at the moment but I would love to see him return as a babyface and fight for the WWE Intercontinental Championship."

[8.0] "He does an incredible job all the way through each match, but most of all, watching a 300 pound man do a moonsault brings me indescribable joy."

[9.0] "I am surprised by his work over the past few months. Initially, I thought that WWE would just forget about him and put him on the shelf before Erik returned. But his matches against Kofi Kingston, Bronson Reed, Chad Gable and Ricochet made it clear that I was wrong. And it was also in the match against him when Sheamus made his return. This shows that you don't have to worry about Ivar anymore. Great job, Viking Raider!"

[7.0] "GREAT tag wrestler and one of the best high-flying big-man that I have ever seen. His singles stuff doesn't do it for me even though he's had some good matches on RAW at times. But even as a singles wrestler, he's a massive gain for every promotion, especially with Rowe."

[9.0] "He's incredible, you want flying meat, Ivar's a flying steak perfectly seasoned. New character, with some longer match, he'll be fine dining. Hope he continues going single, man is too good to be trap in tag team matches. Only less then a year to be a believable singles star."

[6.0] "A beautiful big monster man with shocking acrobatic abilities and great ring work, held entirely back by a viking gimmick that is dumb on paper and even dumber when you find out that he's straight edge IRL. I am always excited to see him in the ring and hope that some day he gets away from this character."

[4.0] "He's a great worker but I can't get over how stupid the viking gimmick is, I really can't get in to his work in any way when I'm distracted and put off by the silly gimmick. Not that I think all wrestling is supposed to be all serious but I don't think it fits the product at all, it's also silly in the wrong way"

[8.0] "Big man whos really captured my attention since his transition into a solo act. Can hit awesome high spots, willing to take some crazy spots, looking forward to seeing more of Ivar!"

[7.0] "Talented big man with great unexpected high flying moves. He was alright solo in ROH but much better when he started teaming with Rowe. They don't have the greatest mic skills but are amazing in the ring."

[6.0] "Very agile big man who is pretty good in tag teams. Viking Raiders are very underrated and should be used well."

[6.0] "He might be the best part of the Viking Raiders but he still is boring and has no potential as a solo wrestler. Has some cool moves."

[7.0] "Very athletic big man who truth be told I have never seen as a singles competitor. He has always been in a tag team with Ray Rowe since before I knew about and in every match i've seen. I am sure he would be capable but let's keep War Machine, sorry War Raiders together for awhile yet."

[8.0] "When I first saw Hanson work, he was on the indie scene, clean shaven, and playing a bit of a goofball gimmick. I found his work entertaining then, but I definitely didn't foresee his rise as a mega-bearded badass – which probably speaks to my own lack of imagination because it sure seems obvious now. He plays the role very well, and possesses a moveset beyond what you'd expect from that sort of gimmick. Based on seeing his early work I'd say he has more potential on the mic than I've seen him show in ROH."

[10.0] "Hanson is a hoss among hosses, a viking of a man that can pull that look and gimmick off unlike most. A great blossoming singles talent and a proven tag team worker in ROH as part of War Machine, Hanson is an incredibly agile athlete, pulling out smooth cartwheels and moonsaults unlike almost anybody else his size. One of the more underrated hosses in Ring of Honor and in the New England independent scene, such as in Northeast Wrestling where he holds their top title as the War King."

[7.0] "Hanson has an interesting skill set, with lots of the power moves and explosive strikes you'd expect somebody who looks like a viking to employ, but with some surprising agility mixed in. Hasn't shown a whole lot on the mic thus far during his time with ROH, but has the look, intensity and presence to make up for it. Fun to watch on his own, but I'm especially enjoying his tag team work with Raymond Rowe as "War Machine. ""

[10.0] "After watching and noticing Hanson throughout this first year I've watched him, I've always liked his look with his beard and his wrestling attire cause he always looks like a viking and he's badass like one too. Hanson is tough as nails with every clubbing blow, every big boot kick he executes. Also for a big guy, he's pretty athletic as well. He is a perfect definition of a top prospect for ROH in 2014. Yeah he may have won the tournament but I consider Hanson one-half of the top prospects of ROH in 2014 and the other being his partner Raymond Rowe in War Machine of course."

[7.0] "I like him. He is a scary wrestler. Also, he is a very athletic giant. He can perform a moonsault, spin kick and cartweels."

[8.0] "I like this guy. He showed a ton of potential in the ROH Top Prospect tournament. Plus I automatically like a big guy who can move like a cruiserweight (cartwheels, moonsaults, a sick spin kick). I'm looking forward to seeing what he and his War Machine partner Raymond Rowe accomplish in ROH."
