[10.0] "Eddie is the most genuinely beloved member of the Guerrero wrestling family, but the patriarch Gory is the true legend. A larger than life figure in an era when wrestling was transitioning from the original style to that which made Ric Flair and Antonio Inoki stars, he is easily one of the top five draws in lucha libre history, well able to fill even the huge Plaza de Toros in Monterrey, and possibly the third biggest after El Santo and Blue Demon. His feud with El Cavernario Galindo was in many way the forerunner of modern day ultra-violent deathmatch wrestling: the amount of blood shed by those two in the ring was such there's a legend (never confirmed nor denied) that after one match Gory collapsed in the locker room due to blood loss and had to be rushed to the hospital. And when you have that kind of stories around you, you are truly a legend."
