[4.0] "He was a good collegiate athlete but even by the standards of his day his offense looked terrible and didn't take bumps very well. He also wasn't a Vince lackey on tv, that was real life. He benefitted greatly from the success of his brother and the friendship with Vince McMahon. His personal contributions to wrestling were minimal and only got worse in the late 90's-early 2000's with his feud with Pat Patterson."

[8.0] "Not as good as his brother in the ring (who was back then? ) but Gerald had a secret weapon! Gerald could cut a rather great heel promo, complete with inflections and mannerisms that made him severely dislikeable. He rarely flubbed, it almost always came out perfectly. He was forced into being a great heel promo because his brother had an almost impossible time "heeling it up". Unfortunately neither were dastardly enough in the ring, but Jerry's promos alone certainly got people's money. The babyface stuff is better though, a more natural fit because of the skill set/ring style. Great tag wrestler with anyone. The lessor Brisco is still solid and absolutely watchable! However, AVOID THE PAT PATTERSON FEUD."

[8.0] "Is anybody on this site rated for the wrong thing more often? Jerry Brisco was a Class A tag wrestler, a very good singles guy and obvious an important backstage player in wrestling's most celebrated era. He was never as good as older brother Jack in the sense that he never came off as a legitimate World Title threat. But I think you could argue that nobody brought the energy of a lesser, but credible "little brother" better. Probably Owen, maybe Kerry, definitely some Mexican candidates. But that's it, and no, Kane doesn't count."

[7.0] "Best known as a tag team specialist. Him and Jack Brisco were great and exciting to watch. Even though Jerry was not as good as Jack but he was still great to watch. The stuff he did with Pat Patterson was hilarious but the wrestling style was corny."
