[9.0] "Genki's been a stable part of the DG roster since the late Toryumon days and continues to be a solid and entertaining worker. Whether he's a balding heel or a surfer, he's been responsible to popularising the Beach Break finisher, snapping many a wrestlers teeth with the world's longest elastic strap and using powder, boxes and all means of distractions to keep us entertained. Loved his work in Do Fixer, Natural Vibes, Muscle Outlawz and Jimmyz and teaming with Susumu and Ryo Saito. Played a solid role in a number of the key stables in DG history and an ever present star. I'll be sad when the roster is finally bald or HAGE of his presence."

[9.0] "Genki is easily the soul of Dragongate. While I see others talking about him being a midcarder and such, the man brings a ray of sunshine into any show, especially when he has time to be his usual, affable mischievous self. Not many guys I know could take their hair loss, and turn into a cult phenomenon. While he might not be as flashy as others, his character work is excellent, and that damned rubber band is out to get him too, but he still plays with that fire. His pairings with JFK this past summer has been beneficial to Jacky, and his own self worth too. I'm not going to lie...I've really loved his work with Eita, and keep hoping H-A-G-Eita becomes a thing."

He's not the super worker his peers are but he's consistently a great part of all the multi-man tags he's a part of. Crowd always plays along with his antics and it enhances his matches. In a company like dragongate known for their flash pins his backslide might be the most known. Him and the company getting it over as a real finish to matches always keeps people on their toes because it can be hit anytime. Adore this man"

[6.0] "I'd say that Horiguchi is an unfortunate victim of circumstance due to his hair-loss and resulting dorky look becoming his entire character, but the dude was charismatic enough to fully embrace that and turn it into an absolute fan-favourite persona. He isn't as flashy with his high-flying spots as others on the DG roster, and his strikes and power moves aren't as physically impressive, but he's decent enough with all of it, and then it's his endearing and infectious dorky babyface character work that makes him so entertaining. He's also worked very well as a dastardly and cheap heel, where he's utilised his odd and distinctive visual features to portray a very distinctive villain, also having the rude sneering and evil facial expressions on point. He's also been one of the company's best near-fall guys, with his Backslide pin being established as a genuine match-ender throughout his career which thus results in great crowd pops whenever it's kicked out of. Horiguchi isn't the sort of guy to have a great singles matches, but he's absolutely the sort of guy to play his part in producing a great multi-man tag match. I would have liked to see him be a bit more serious and less focussed on his comedy and dorky babyface work for at least one extended period in his career, just to see if he could have worked as a serious babyface without the tongue-and-cheek nature he was so inclined towards, but I still think he's been an entertaining performer considering what he had to work with, and he's the perfect example of why DG has such a strong connection with their fans."

Already 37, i can say his best years are behind him, maybe has one more decent Brave Gate reign in him, but other than that i don't see him going much higher."

[9.0] "Genki is very charismatic, and he's entertaining has hell ! And the guy is also really good in the ring. Winner of the 2012 King of Gate tournament, he hasn't moved in the main event unfortunately. Sad to see that he is stuck in the midcard.."
