[3.0] "As I've said before, if all you can do is hardcore matches, then you can't do much. However, Drake did have a lot of normal matches that aren't too bad. While I respect the decision to brutalize oneself for the entertainment of others and very little pay, I still think it's a style that doesn't demand a lot of talent. As a referee, well, I'm not being facetious when I say his almost fluorescent orange spray tan was so distracting that it took me out of some matches he was part of. To top it all off he's a conspiracy theorist who sabotaged his job for...reasons?"

"As a deathmatch fan, I just can't wait for this dude to go away. The technical wrestling is fine, but nothing special. His deathmatch stuff is a dime a dozen, nothing really innovative or unique. Terrible promos, bordering on cringy. Gimmick? What gimmick? Everyone and their mother is a 'psycho' and a 'hybrid wrestler' these days. Before his meltdown, he was first round tournament fodder to me and it was always puzzling what people saw in him. Now it's just absurd that he still gets bookings. Ability-wise, he can easily be replaced by two dozens of people with far less baggage."

In his prime, he was unbeatable, and even now that he is older and less active, he still gets the crowd going when he walks in. Drake Younger will be remembered as one of the most influential wrestlers to ever set foot in the ring."

There are nott many other wrestlers that work harder in the ring. A death match wrestling legend that can compete with anyone in any style. Drake younger is the epitome of a hybrid wrestling. He will be considered one of the best extreme guys to ever do it when all is said and done"

[8.0] "A new found career in Big Japan, aligned with Abdullah Kobayashi and Ryuji Ito. Once Dragon Gate veteran, then CZW veteran and more known as the hardcore referee of the black and gold brand, on gang. A new found career in Big Japan to get away from critics and here-sayers who claim he is pasted it. He is living his best life, in great shape, in the latter part of his career for surely the truth and does care. Hardcore and professional. And well trained by Chris Hero & American Kick-boxer, the guy continues to learn like true pros should. Drake Younger is a true fighter and a good referee."

[4.0] "Drake is hard for me to rate. I am quite familiar with him throughout his death match days. It should be noted that I loath that style of wrestling. But of all the dumpy nimrods who normally competed in early CZW & Big Japan, Younger was one of the more tolerable. As an NXT ref, he's very good & I'm glad he put the garbage wrestling behind him."

[10.0] "Whether he is under the gimmick of "The Golden Boy" or "The Psycho Shooter", Drake Younger is top notch in the independent world of wrestling. Bursting onto the PWG scene after moving to California in late 2012, he is already making waves. After two fantastic matches with Sami Callihan, people are starting to take notice. His success in Death Match tournaments is second to none. Not only that, the man can have great matches when called upon... no gimmicks needed. His match with Bryan Danielson in IPW was amazing. 2013 looks like it may be the year where Drake Younger (one of the nicest people in all of wrestling) becomes the star he deserves to be."
