[5.0] "Looked 54 in 1981, yet only looked 56 in 1991. Southern style worker (mostly in tag teams) who i feel was very hit or miss depending on his night/mood/opponent/pay. Sometimes he could keep it hot, action flowing, body language off the charts, creating electricity in the atmosphere. Ability to completely control the crowd's emotional state, putty in his hands. Other nights he was awkwardly rigid, shambled, refused to just flow with things, sometimes looked out of place and even worse: lost. These are two extremes, not much material that meets in the middle....except his score."

[6.0] "Doug Somers was a very solid hand and if you go back and watch his first match versus Sting in WCW it was very entertaining. He was mostly used as a tag team specialist and had great success in the AWA as a 2 time tag champion. He was enhancement talent in the WWF and WCW in early 90's but still was able to showcase some offense. His best days were probably late 70's / early 80's in the NWA territories where he excelled as both a singles and tag wrestler. True meaning of old school."
