[1.0] "It's kind of a shame that dan Matha will almost always be known best for getting embarrassed and squashed by Samoa Joe, but really, there's not a lot else here. He had an impressive physique, and stood at a solid height, so of course he was always going to get wrestling looks, but he felt intensely generic and boring beyond that in the looks department. No promo skills that I ever saw, and he saw very limited in-ring action on broadcast, with aforementioned Samoa Joe beat-down, a spot in the Greatest Royal Rumble (the less said the better), and a two-match turn in NXT UK as part of the Outliers with Riddick Moss, a fairly generic "look how muscly and athletic we are" tag team that brought nothing new to the table. His big spots were largely strikes and an extended bear hug, and while he did have a bit of explosive athleticism, it didn't translate to actual in ring skills. Just another dime-a-dozen muscle guys who couldn't put the actual wrestling portion together. He seems like a nice guy, though, so there's that. Hopefully his fitness business is doing well."

[1.0] "Dan Matha spent 5 years in WWE, in which he only had 4 television appearances and in one of those he was squashed by Samoa Joe and in his debut. Other than that he only appeared on live shows, a pretty random case."

[5.0] "Dan Matha is a wrestler you need to see at live shows in order to have a complete opinion about him, otherwise you'd just know him as the guy who got squashed by Samoa Joe or got paired with Riddick Moss on NXT UK. As a whole he isn't bad, I definitely see some potential here for him, but he definitely needs to work more on his skills. Just because you can hit the typical big man moves that doesn't mean you are cut to be a good wrestler."
