[4.0] "Prolific Saturday morning punching bag for Vince. A "competitive" match up was always a rather woeful affair. Rather rough to witness; obviously slow and blatantly limited, lest we forget the poor physique. Didn't fair much better in the territories either. By 1989, Dusty had improved on at least body language and speed. He was still dumpy & bland with a bad haircut but he moved better and had a better grasp on timing by this point. I can't believe this part though, there is a match vs Koko B Ware on WWF Wrestling Challenge May 31st '87 where he shows he does in fact have an arsenal of offense. He's putting on the match of his career here. Probably more a nod to Koko's willingness to work than anything but still. There it is, Dusty Wolfe's moment of glory (he still loses)."

What's interesting about this fella is that he has no wins in the WWF 0-168 record. He kind of looked one of those jobbers that the WWF actually pulled from the crowd and gave him 20 bucks to lose to The Undertaker."

[6.0] "Many people have done the Doink gimmick, Matt Osbourne originally portrayed the character. Steve Keirn did a lot of the others. Chris Jericho and Jeff Jarrett even once or twice. It is kinda unfair to lump them all into one person calling them out of shape or a jobber. Some of the spots they did were really good, they would get over and it was all fun. I have always enjoyed a clown character of some sort. There are many in Mexico and America who do the clown thing, I love the look the goofy water spraying in your face, all of that. One of the top 5 jobbers in the mid-late 80's WWF. Had a terrible look and he had the 80'iest hair style you could ever imagine! He was never going to be anything great with that helmet hair! According to the Internet Wrestling Database, Dusty had 130 matches in the WWF, and he went 0-130! That's a much worse record than Glass Joe!"

"Great at what he did. And that was to put other wrestlers over. Nothing flashy. All in all ok at what he did."

I see that he played Doink years later in smaller territories interested in how that happened as the WWF went after Matt Bourne doing the same thing. I am assuming he must of bought the name or paid a %, but either way that is disgraceful. Was garbage to the max."
