[9.0] "One of the most honorable and underrated men in the history of this business. True definition of the "maintainer of kayfabe". Also great stiff performer in the ring and an amazing heel in front of cameras. We can say he was a total package even only looking that he worked in New York, Mid South, North West and Japan as a top star."

Not my type o'rassler. *Punch punch punch* Overrated and it was totally fine seeing him depart from the business prematurely. 1.75 rounded up."

People think he's an asshole because of his mannerism but he can be very blunt by telling the truth about wrestling. He told the truth about Hulk Hogan and his steroid use. Too bad that he slapped the report in the face. He was successful in Stampede and WWF. Excellent heel and very underrated!"

[9.0] "Schultz was an anti hero long before Stone Cold had ever conceptualized the notion. That is a fact. Dr. D was a legit bad guy, but we loved him on the Stampede Wrestling show where he main evented very often. His early work as a heel was good, but it was as he developed into a bit of a face with a seriously bad attitude that he gained some traction as a top guy. He was great on the mic. In the WWF/E he was used incorrectly, and the fact that he in real life took no crap from anyone did not bode well for him. One cannot forget, however, his slap of John Stossel made Pro Wrestling headline news all over North America for awhile and still gets play today. True heel work that blurred the line. It was when I saw a Hulk Hogan vs Dr. D match in WWF/E at the time that I realized that Hulks deal was phony. Seeing him go over so easy with a leg drop on the great Dr. D was simply not believable. It just wasn't He was built so well on Stampede that he was larger than life. I recall him in a great angle against Nick Bockwinkel, in which Nick put him over, but got up and left with the AWA belt. Fans wrote letters in protest to news agencies, the AWA. There was complete outrage and Dr. D was at the center of it on the mic with Ed Whalen just hammering away. He had a thick Southern Accent and just went off man. It was classic."
