[5.0] "Danhausen is the perfect example for the comedy wrestler. Can put a good match to save his fucking life, but he is funny, have good presentation, carisma, always get heat, he is good overall, if you forget that ring matters. The social media for some reason hate that guy."

[10.0] "This guy is so creatively unique and comedic all at once. I adore all of his stuff, the teeth, the curses, the face paint, etc. And he can actually pull off a good match whenever he gets the chance! I highly recommend watching his match at New South Pro Wrestling with Mike Bennett. It has to be one of his best matches ever! His stuff in Ring Of Honor proved that he can be comedic and entertaining. Like when he dressed up as the mysterious luchador who went missing El Generico! Sure, his AEW run has been weird and has kind of slowed down his momentum, but I'm sure he'll bounce back and hopefully he'll end up in WWE or TNA!"

[2.0] "Hard to believe that five years ago he was one of my absolute favorites, largely because I grew to love the gimmick from his social media presence and YouTube show(s). Being clever outside the ring and mining Simpsons lore can only take you so far though. By this point I've seen enough of his matches across AEW, ROH, and GCW that I don't care to see another. His match against Randy Myers at DEFY was just dreadful--and I've seen Randy wrestle so many times that I'm not inclined to place the blame on him."

[7.0] "Danhausen, the face-painted, curse-casting, and tooth-collecting enigma of pro wrestling, is like a fever dream that somehow makes total sense in the squared circle. He's the perfect blend of comedy, creepiness, and chaos--think "haunted doll meets late-night talk show host.""

"For a time Danhausen was a top name in the indie scene but being signed to AEW while injured killed a ton of momentum he had, I do think he can recover some of his lost popularity but overall his recent work hasn't been the greatest."

[2.0] "You either like comedy characters or you don't. I mostly do not, but I can occasionally appreciate something that might be nuanced. When I look at the likes of Santino or R-Truth, I see something that is a little more based in reality than this. But the problem for me with Danhausen is that it's so far over-the-top that I can't lose myself in it. It's too silly for my taste. Even in the wacky world that is AEW - even when he was selling a lot of merch, he didn't work. He has a place in the indies, but aside from maybe a once-a-year appearance, he simply can't work on a professional stage."

[4.0] "I personally don't enjoy watching Danhausen. He doesn't make me laugh, he's not that good in the ring. I don't know what else to say. He should remain in the indies, make money with his merch and meet and greets, and stay away from wrestling TV. He can be good for small crowds."

[9.0] "One of my favorite wrestlers. He's very energetic, highly entertaining, and makes anyone he's in a match with look like a superstar without fail. His comic persona, complete with catchphrase "very nice, very evil", and encore performances like the tequila dance on the ring apron, teeth as a weapon, and of course THE CURSE - Danhausen is the sort of wrestler that makes me truly a FAN of pro wrestling. The only reason he doesn't get a 10 is because he cursed Joe Bob Briggs. I know cursing is his thing, but the King of the Drive-in? Cmon, do better, Danhausen!"

[5.0] "Danhausen is a good comedy wrestler, he can be funny, but also intriguing and mysterious, I enjoy his appearances most of the times, I think many of them are iconic and work pretty well, he's a curious character, and knows to make people be curious about him."

[10.0] "Everyone loves Danhausen! I don't understand how anyone could ever hate this man. He had some excellent trainers and some excellent matches. He is already a ten year veteran so I am curious on where the future takes him. UPDATE: Sadly, he hasn't gotten a big push as of lately and usually eats the pin, however I do hope that he does get a push soon. He has so much charisma and it shows every single time he gets into the ring."

[5.0] "Moves merch and makes me laugh. Maybe the shtick has gotten a bit old but he has also missed a bunch of time due to injury (which dude is super touchy about on Twitter) so maybe can come back refreshed. Would like to see something more interesting telling a story and some actual more wrestling when he returns (yes he needs to actually wrestle at least SOME)"

[8.0] "Moves merch, great personality, from my home town, pretty good in the ring but really doesn't have to be. Wrestling used to be filled with characters like him who DON'T HAVE TO WRESTLE -- Kamala, George the Animal Steel and so on. We need more of these types of wrestlers."

[5.0] "I really enjoyed Danhausen when he debuted in AEW. He was unique and quirky, and served as a fun enhancement character. A bit of the shine has worn off for me, although I do still like him as a character, and think he has some potential for some pretty interesting character work if his more sinister side gets a proper emergence story arc. To that end, unfornunately, he has struggled with injuries. What I've seen of his wrestling is also not very interesting. That's fine, he doesn't need to be a top in ring talent, assuming he can stay healthy and featured."

"Danhausen is my favorite modern wrestler. It was very fun to follow him from ROH to seeing him now on AEW. I wish they gave him more screen time and allowed him to fully use all of his skills. I hope someday I get to see him here in Japan or on a trip to America. Love that danhausen!"

[7.0] "Loved that Danhausen, key word, "loved." Oh dear... In terms of being a personality and comedic genius, very few come close to Danhausen levels of quality. If he were a late night horror host that just so happened to become a professional wrestler, everything would make sense. But we can't have nice things, can we? Like Orange Cassidy there doesn't seem to be much of a shelf life here, thus we NEED to have Danhausen evolve and MAYBE be a little more serious. In the early days-hausen our dearest ghoul was fairly frightening and had these eerie video packages. Think prime Bray Wyatt with extra grime. The man behind the makeup was a fairly solid wrestler, typical indie stuff, nothing exceptional but solid. Once the goofy money obsessed Danhausen was born things seemed to click. There was something oddly lovable about him, and seeing him on the independent scene was always amusing. Yet once he made it to AEW, the goofiness really got out of hand. Moreover, Danhausen gets injured every two-weeks due to ring rust, so a long career is highly unlikely. If all goes well, he can be a great Andy Kaufman or Jimmy Hart oddity in the wrestling industry. Regardless, that is some optimistic thinking and by the looks of things, the goofball Danhausen gimmick is here to stay. 7.1/10. Fun for kids and casual viewers, but ultimately wrestling needs more credibility."

[6.0] "One of the few wrestlers I find thoroughly entertaining because he has actual character and gimmick. Feels like a lost art since the mid 2000's."

[7.0] "People get way too worked up on him. What's wrong with being entertaining? You'll never see him win a world title and he's not main event material, but neither was the Hurricane and he's one of the guys that got me into wrestling. Wrestling can be an horrible thing to see with all of its backstage drama and ruined bookings, but sometimes there are light hearted things like Danhausen that can make your day better"

[3.0] "A comedy wrestler with barely any ring work. I get that wrestling federations just want to give the people what they want, but with Danhausen it's hard to know if that's a good or a bad thing"

[4.0] "Just a comedy wrestler nothing more, he is not even used in AEW so its hard to judge him for his in ring work"

[6.0] "Danhausen is a great character but is average in the ring. He is good at getting a reaction from the crowd and on the mic is good but just does not seem to be able to wrestle on the level as some other members of the AEW roster."

[7.0] "His comedic work is genius and he portrays his character perfectly. Yes I know he doesn't get much in ring work but if tpu actually KNOW Danhausen (as in before his AEW days) you would know he is truly talented in the ring."

[3.0] "Danhausen is a comic wrestler but nothing more. I like an Orange Cassidy who is good in the ring much better than Danhausen."

[7.0] "How good does somebody's character have to be if they can't wrestle? About as good as Danhausen's. He's a lot of fun to watch. He connects with the crowd really well. He... can't actually cut much of a promo? But it goes to show that charisma is more than promo ability. But yeah, he's not a very good wrestler, and that limits the kinds of stories that he can tell. Still, Danhausen is a lot of fun."

"9.0 Danhausen is the reason we started watching wrestling again after a decade or more of being "over" McMahon. We live his gimmick, and he's always excellent value. Like to see him wrestle more and win. I think Donovan is actually a better than decent wrestler."

[9.0] "Danhausen always make's me smile. He's hilarious, creative, original, and endearing. The only thing keeping me from giving him a ten is he is rarely allowed the showcase his ring work these days."

[2.0] "If it wasn't for the slightly endearing moments with HOOK, this would be a straight 0. I just have no idea what people find so entertaining about this guy, it's so corny. The terrible accent, the terrible look, and he barely goes longer than a minute if he's ever in ring. Bizarre."

[7.0] "He is a character. Never want to see him go after any title but as a comedy character he is absolutely fantastic if not a bit tiring at times."

[5.0] "An interesting guy to rate. As of yet, I've seen no real in ring ability, even though everyone insists he can wrestle on the independent scene. Perhaps this is a long term plan to reveal. Regardless, I find him super entertaining and laugh every time he is one screen. But until he delivers in the ring like Orange Cassidy I can't go above an average rating."

[1.0] "Character charm is 0 points, and arena performance is 0 points, which is a very inexplicable setting."

[7.0] "He is an interesting character with stories that are quite irrelevant and not at all helpful, but hey, since he came to AEW at least they have been giving him minutes on TV, he needs to fight more, which is what being a wrestler is all about."

[4.0] "A funny guy/talent/wrestler who is certainly fun to watch, though he feels a little out of place in AEW. There's plenty of room for gimmicks like Danhausen in professional wrestling, though most of them have a glass ceiling."

"I have no idea how to rate Danhausen. Very few wrestlers get my attention the way he does, and I love all his web content. He's fun in the ring without exactly being a super-worker, but he's not quite as fun or talented as Orange Cassidy, which is the easiest (laziest? ) comparison. This probably means I'm cursed. Oh well, Love that Danhausen!"

[9.0] "A very entertaining gimmick and one of the highlights of ROH's pandemic era. Now on a bigger stage and being one of the biggest highlights of each show he's on. The best part of Danhausen is not only is he enticing and keeps you watching to see what misadventures he goes on next, but adds to it as his wrestling style is also very good."

[7.0] "I honestly don't get this guy, don't get me wrong he can be very funny and can be entertaining but he's done nothing that's impressed so far other then emit the odd giggle. Edit: He's actually gotten a bit more impressive as of late."

[4.0] "Danhausen is not for me at all. He's harmless and that's fine. I think he brings the people that work with him down (IE HOOK). He's funny at times but I feel he takes away more than he gives. I don't Love That Danhausen."

[8.0] "Character work is where Danhausen truly shines. He is decent in the ring and is able to fully showcase his character in everything he does."

[5.0] "Adding Hausen to the end of everything and making weird faces isn't a character. At least he puts in effort, unlike most indie wrestlers to have a character, but his in-ring skills aren't all that special either. Actually, if we're being honest, his in-ring skills suck but I genuinely do appreciate the effort this guy makes, it's nice to see."

[10.0] "Love that Danhausen. Very nice, very evil. Legitimately awesome character work (watch his YouTube and try to not be at least somewhat entertained) and he is very smooth in the ring. Not even at his peak yet, but he has cursed so many that it matters not. 10 points solely for the nice/evil ratio."

[5.0] "Not quite sure I understand the character or particularly see the love for his work. Not horrendous but not great"

[10.0] "I didn't get it at first, but I am definitely a fanhausen now. He's certainly not the cleanest or most talented worker from bell-to-bell, but what he lacks in that department, Danhausen certainly makes up for in charisma, creativity, and wit. Usually, I am the last girl in the world to like a wrestler purely for the gimmick, but there is something so very special about Danhausen. So, what's his gimmick' It's just Danhausen. Maybe he's evil playing innocent' Maybe he's a demon, but too innocent to understand how to actually act evil' I'm not sure, he's just Danhausen, and it's very nice, very evil. I may amendhausen my rating at a later date, but for now it's the full scorehausen. Mr Khan, sign this wonderful manhausen."

[2.0] "Awful wrestler and just a truly awful gimmick. Complete goof ball and the worst thing about Ring Of Honor at the moment, which is saying quite a lot about why they are struggling so much as an organisation."

[8.0] "The character is hilarious and intriguing, while his wrestling is pretty solid. Can put on a good serious bout or a fun comedy match. Definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy outlandish characters, then this is the Danhausen for Youhausen!"

Whether or not he has a ? ceiling? is irrelevant considering Danhausen absolutely gets how to market himself and make his hay on merchandise sales and present himself as a character. Danhausen is entertaining and in the wide weird world of professional wrestling there? s absolutely a place for someone this sure of themselves."

[3.0] "Comedy goof with terrible "wrestling" skill and a stupid gimmick. He's not a good comedy wrestler and comes off as a indie geek that wastes time with his antics. His look is like a budget Vampiro minus anything that made him actually worth watching. Might be somewhat over in the dregs of whatever ROH has turned into but that doesn't indicate much if anything."
