[5.0] "I always had a soft spot for Crush. Got a bad rap almost immediately when they brought him in as the third member of Demolition, but he could pull off the power moves Ax and Smash weren't doing and combined with a top rope knee drop wasn't too shabby. Never was very good on the mic, passable at best. Started getting over as Kona Crush but then they decided he needed to job out to freaking Doink at Mania 9 and never won that feud AFAIK. Started sliding down the card once he turned heel and then his legal troubles combined with not caring to try anymore kinda ruined his career. Last big match was that mess against Taker and Kane when neither he or Brian Clark had even wrestled a big match in almost a YEAR! Had potential, never got there."

[4.0] "Adams was good for a big man, but had no personality. I hated him with Demolition because Ax had to sit out. I did like Kona Crush, although I don't understand a Kona is. I guess it's some kind of Hawaiian surfer or something. His feud with Randy Savage during the early days of Raw was excellent, although the payoff at Wrestlemania X wasn't the best. The less said about his role in the Nation of Domination and DOA, the better. Then he joined the nWo in WCW before ultimately tagging with Adam Bomb as Kronik. Not a stellar career or character, but decent enough to be passable. He died way too young."

Sadly the "Last Man Standing" totally flopped because of the rules. He was okay but forgettable in the Nation of Domination and the DoA were jobbers without a purpose. His best run came as Kronik, but he was so out of shape when he came in the WWF and he was fed to one of the worst Undertakers of all time. Sad that he passed away so early"

UWF Rules Enthusiast wrote on 06.05.2022:
[5.0] "He was not a bad fit to be the third member of Demolition. When he became babyface Crush, it seemed he was able to potentially get a run as WWF champion, as he was agile for a man of his size. That run as babyface Kona Crush from the summer of '92 through the summer of '93 was probably the best run of his career. Plus, he was really over with the crowd. He never ended up winning the WWF title though. Then he became a heel around the fall of '93, and he started wrestling at a much slower pace, and he slowly became less interesting of a worker as years went on."

[5.0] "I almost liked Crush as the third member of Demolition. However, much like many others I kind of turned on him when I realized it was at the expense of Ax. That and he was blatantly lost at times. The Kona Crush babyface bit wasn't the worst. I liked the repackaging as a heel - the whole silver n purple (sometimes red) era was a neat little sweet spot and I think was his peak (ouch). "Jail bird" thug era Crush was crappy (NOD? DOA? IDGAF! ). One thing I could never shake is he always reeked of "underachiever" no matter what role or push he was given. In WCW he was "just another nwo body". I hated the nwo and always fast forward past that crap. I somewhat enjoyed KroniK (guilty pleasure) hot cold, hot.., cold. that creates a lukewarm temperature."

[5.0] "Crush was a bland big guy with a bad gimmick after bad gimmick. Though I will admit he can work if you had someone who could carry him but he can't support himself, same with on the mic his promos were boring or funny but unintentionally. His late WCW stuff was his best if you're actually looking for his most decent stuff."

His tag team with Bryan Clarke had a great look though and I think WCW used his potential towards the end - being a tag champ in wwf, wcw and Japan is not bad at all."

He had some charisma but never used it because he wanted to do this bad ass gimmick. He had some skills but was just working really slow and boring and he had a good look that he changed and turned into shit"

Ma Stump Puller wrote on 17.12.2020:
[4.0] "Honestly such wasted potential. Guy was trained by Antonio Inoki AND Fujinami, got seasoning in AJPW alongside some of the best workers at the time, and it comes out to a generic big man who moves like a potato in the ring, is incapable of speaking on a mic, and has some big stinkers when it comes to match quality. Honestly, Kronik was the main highlight of his career quality wise, and they were really only over because they were two big dudes who did cool stuff and worked stiff. Him in Demolition or the many other gimmicks he went through did nothing for the guy."

[7.0] "Had his up and downs in his career. He was great in his early days as Kona Crush. He had the size and the physique. The many gimmicks he had were cheesy. From Demolition to Kona to Evil to NOD to DOA to NWO, etc. His biggest peaks were with Demolition, Kona and with Yokozuna. His Cranium Crunch was a great move he had. The feud he had with Randy Savage was great. After he was arrested for drugs and went to prison. He went downhill in his career. He did have exciting storylines with Nation of Domination and Disciple of Apocalypse. In WCW he was ok with NWO and after that nothing. Sad that he died very young."
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 29.11.2018:
[6.0] "Brian Adams had the look, size and power that the '80s-'90s era WWF craved, and it was perhaps only his lower charisma that prevented him from rising to main event status. Still, he carved out a very respectable career for himself in the midcard and especially tag team ranks. First gained notice as Crush, the third member of Demolition, brought in as the aging Bill Eadie shifted to a more managerial role, then had a reasonably successful run as a midcard single before becoming part of the Nation of Domination and then splintering off to lead his own biker gang, the Disciples of Apocalypse. After jumping to WCW he became a background character for the NWO, but had one last good tag team run as half of Kronik alongisde Bryan Clarke."

RatingsMachine wrote on 27.09.2018:

The only two notable moments of his career were WWF publicly announce that they had fired him, and having one of the worst matches of all time (with Bryan Clarke against the Undertake and Kane)."

From Demolition to Kona Crush to the Nation of Domination to DOA to the nWo to Kronik... none of it ever stuck, none of it was ever memorable."
Devitciiu wrote on 17.04.2017:
[2.0] "What can you say about Brian Adams? Well... he was big. Adams was really annoying in WCW but they kept letting him use the mic. I remember how much he stood out from the rest of the NWO because he was so corny and his promos were so dated. Even Vincent seemed more in touch than Adams."
