On the indies as Christian Casanova and has Carmelo Hayes in NXT, he showed the IT factor and so much charisma. He can go in the ring and on the mic. [8.0] "So it's been about a year since Carmelo got called up and I'm still waiting to see what they can do with him. As of the time I'm writing this, Solo is US Champ, and I would be happy to see Hayes potentially dethrone him if they're thinking about sending Jacob to the main event scene. We saw in NXT that Melo is more than capable of holding it down with somewhat lengthy reigns, and clearly with the right opponent, such as Dragunov, he can create magic in the ring. He's very fast and agile (watch how quick he sprinted to the ring at this year's rumble to see what I'm talking about) and his striking is usually pretty solid. It's really not looking great for him right now, having lost over 70% of his matches this year, but I'm gonna keep my hopes up."

But he hasn't been able to connect with the crowd especially in the Main Roster(But that's more of a creative issue). He worked really well in NXT as a Top Guy and had one of the best WWE trilogies in a while against Dragunov and a great feud with Trick. But I honestly think Face Melo worked better than him as a heel. He's a solid wrestler overall who could be a top star in a few years."

EDIT: After seeing what Carmelo is capable of, I'm not impressed. Botches have been spread all out on this guys main roster career so far. Sad that it seems he has some potential hopefully when he gets older but for right now, I'm going to keep him at a 5."

It WWE old boys club mentality, no one in their upper card is under 35. i come from being soccer fan when comes to real sport and I'm sorry even the latest of the late bloomers they the not their peak by 29 they're considered not being elite level player same with MMA and boxing or that matter look at Glover is ufc it was considered shock when he won the title at 42 but in wwe people late 30-mid 40s are considered main eventers people can say x or y work is more realistic than the other but pushing past there top peak as main stars when yi have stud with f 3 yet left of his peak in the minors ot compare to sports it looks odd he should not be seen as star of teh future mello he should star of now 7.5/10[ side note this is not an anti-WWE thing this just happen to my first comment i say the same with about AEW and there pushing of older people in ither places like Copeland and alike ]"
