[9.0] "As far as DDT lifers go, I think Akito is easily the most underrated guy they've got. The guy can work any kind of match you give him from a technical showcase to an epic main event to a wild Extreme Title gimmick match (and he's still one of the best guys to hold that belt), but even within DDT he's rarely been handed a long consistent push, and I never got why. It's not like he's devoid of charisma, even if guys like HARASHIMA beat him in that regard. He's clearly loved by people who follow the DDT product at any time in the past decade as well. I write this seeing he recently got a KO-D Title main event, something I found to be a rarity when it really shouldn't be. This guy is still in his prime and I genuinely think DDT should give him a run on top at some point."

"I've only seen this guy a handful of times, but him using the Naruto Shippuden OP as his entrance music already makes me a fan."

[7.0] "Akito is a really good technical wrestler, maybe one of the best at DDT. But there's something about him that I think is missing for me to give him a higher rating."

[10.0] "I love his technical wrestling. In a company like DDT it stands out, not that they're not known for quality in-ring work, but he's also got great charisma and presence on top of that."

[8.0] "Akito, by all means, is a good, but very fickle employee at different points in his career. He is often at the stage when it is really boring to watch him, but they all change during periods when every action of this character wants to be analyzed under a microscope. In one calendar year, he made a great contribution to the story with Yoshihiko, his motivation to win the King of DDT tournament was one of the highlights, the fusion with Dino was great, and the confrontation between Wakate Tsushin and the Aces of DDT is full of touching details and good wrestling. But in the meantime, he just doesn't do anything and all his important feuds seem to lead nowhere. He ruined All Out, but the stupidity of this decision was obvious after a week, primarily for Akito himself. In the ring, he also pleases only when his opponent has a different style and all this doesn't turn into a boring festival of technical moves (and this can be done in an interesting way, Sabre as an obvious example). Akito is a curious wrestler and I would like him to have an adequate future. Even though he disappoints me terribly, I don't want to bet him less than he deserves. I, at least, am not allowed to do so by his match with Honda in 2015, which I still remember in great detail."

[10.0] "An exceptionally underrated member of one of the best locker rooms in one of the best promotions going today. Akito has technical proficiency, a penchant for working within the confines of odd match stipulations, a recognizable look, and in general a plethora of pro wrestling talent. His time in the DDT Extreme Title scene was one of the highlights of DDT during that period, including multiple great-to-classic matches against the likes of Shiori Asahi, Antonio Honda, and Shigehiro Irie. However, outside of that, he has spent most of his DDT career in the undercard without many big wins. I can only hope that DDT decides to at least put him full-on back into the Extreme Title scene, or otherwise gives him a more significant push in the near future. For now, he'll remain a criminally overlooked talent."
