For laughs, I wanted to check his cagematch profile and see what he did and he's a NINETEEN TIMES CHAMPION? ! I was about to ask "Who the hell was the booker, was he blind? " but the comments here say that he himself was the booker. That explains a lot of things. Sad that he had so many heart problems. I was torn between a 1 and a 2, but I can't find a wrestling move done by him that weren't basic punches and restholds so I have to give a 1"

[8.0] "An average wrestler. Very strong and played the Bulldog character very well. Popular in the Central States. He was the heavyweight champion 19 times. Also he was successful in St. Louis, AWA, PNW, Stampede and Vancouver. He was a tag team specialist. A great Canadian wrestler."

(I thought I read he was not his actual father could be wrong) I really did not see him wrestle a lot in his prime, but like Stu Hart he just had a body and look that was scary kind of. He looked like he could stretch your arm off at will. He was missing teeth and was miserable cantankerous sort on the mic. Anytime he was on Stampede he was always a upper card heel even as quite an old guy, which, I find impressive. He was just hard looking. Tough as nails."

His work rate didn't include fancy moves but he put in an honest effort and got over and sold tickets."
