I do think he's good in-ring, throw him in NJPW or something and he'd put on a great match. But in-terms of WWE, people are kidding themselves if they think this guy is going to be anything more than a lower card wrestler, if even that. He'll always be on the B shows, because he's not somebody fans can connect with. Good in-ring, lacks everything else."

The Giant Swing, the bop and bang, the spiral tap, the orange crush, airplane spin, simply tremendous"

I used to think he had some potential because he was fairly young, but he has actually been stagnant in most areas while declining in others (his in-ring work is worse and his look is a choice). Let's be honest. Tyler Bate looks like a hobo in diapers, he can't talk nor act for shit, can't really work a gimmick and he is tiny as fuck. He can do moves and sell decently but that's all he has going for him. A lower midcard act that gets a ton of TV time that much more talented people should be getting instead."

[9.0] "After finally escaping developmental purgatory, Tyler Bate has cemented himself on the main roster after EC Perth, which I'm so happy to see after following him for years. He's a prodigy in the ring and has physical charisma and cheeky promos that makes him an amazing babyface, while still being able to get serious when the occasion calls for it. Flourishes in singles and tag competition. I'm hoping that WWE splits the tag belts ASAP as there are too many talented teams on the roster with not a lot of direction, with Dunne and Bate being who I would put the belts on first, even though i think they should've kept the British Strong Style name. I can't believe WWE squandered Tyler in developmental for so long, he joined in Jan 2017 at 19 and was called up in Jan 2024 at 26, when he was ready years earlier.."

[6.0] "Tyler Bate is a good cruiserweight wrestler. He is pretty well-rounded and can do a little bit of everything from technical, high-flying, and power moves. I think his promo ability is lacking and his stature makes him lack believability against certain opponents. It is difficult to see how far he will go. I don't think his ceiling is that high but he can put on some great matches and if the cruiserweight division is ever brought back and done correctly, he can be one of the top guys there."

[10.0] "The Big Strong Boi is pretty much the British Tatsumi Fujinami. That is exactly who Tyler Bate reminds me of. They are built somewhat similar, they are technicians, can hit any move in the book, can fly, can strike, can brawl, can play Ring General and carry a lesser talented wrestler, excellent seller, outstanding in Singles, Tags, Trios, short technical contests, long-winded epic battles, whatever you want. Tyler also has the natural charisma & likability to be a highly believable Babyface, it is hard to picture him as a Heel. Tyler Bate is almost exactly like the legendary Tatsumi Fujinami. He is one of the best wrestlers in the world under the age of 30 (really he is one of the best wrestlers in the world, period), he has been apart of one of the best tag teams of the last 10 years, Moustache Mountain, was apart of one of the best trios of the last 10 years as well (British Strong Style), seems like he would have the ability to fit in with any wrestling promotion anywhere in the world (WWE, AEW, NJPW, or even NOAH, he is that believable to me). He is an NXT UK Legend as he accomplished every single feat possible on that brand which really puts him over as the ACE of NXT UK. His epic battles against Pete Dunne, WALTER, Undisputed ERA, & Trent Seven will be forgotten no time soon as well. The Big Strong Boi is actually The Man."

[10.0] "Big strong boy is a talented wrestler, so he can use his mature wrestling skill in his matches. He is also first ever NXT UK triple crown winner, although he is only 25 years old."

[9.0] "Just an insanely good wrestler all around, in terms of in ring work Tyler Bate is one of the best in the business right now. Unfortunately his character work has always been, and still is, a bit bland, but you also have to remember he's still very young. I think if he can figure out who his character is as a wrestler and just go with it in the next few years, he will go down as one of the greatest of all time. As of right now though he isn't close to all time great status yet, just extremely good."

[9.0] "I got back into wrestling around 3 years ago, and quickly found myself watching Tyler Bate, first in WWE and then looked further into his Progress matches. As a babyface in WWE he works perfectly, given his age, but he also excelled as a heel in the stable British Strong Style with Pete Dunne and Moustache Mountain partner, Trent Seven. Bate has, personally, delivered some of my favourite matches and continues to show how he, at such a young age, can elevate the match. See his matches against WALTER (both at TakeOver Cardiff and Progress, Hello Wembley), and also delivered exceptionally on the tag team front, both as Progress tag team champion with Seven, in matches against GYV or CCK to see the range of performance from him. Truly an exceptional talent and given what we have already seen, still has tonnes of potential."

[9.0] "Really great wrestler & someone who "gets" it. Won the first UK Tournament & quickly progressed as a great worker. Anytime he's had a big spotlight match, he has delivered. Matches against the likes of Dunne & Walter were perhaps the best of the year. His tag team with Seven was super solid & they also put on some fantastic matches, particularly against Undisputed Era."
