[8.0] "The Bullet Bob Armstrong is one of the best babyfaces the territories ever had. He wasn't a great ring technician but he was an excellent southern brawler. He held countless titles across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and elsewhere. A great believable promo"

[8.0] "Early Cagematch ratings are something else. Great worker, way above average workrate for his time, sired a fine clan, top class promo, one of the best TV authority figures, there's very little argument against him being an exceptionally talented man."

[8.0] "You could even argue this is low-balling Bullet Bob. I feel so bad that his ratings are this bad, mainly for his TNA run when people rated him for what was happening irl at the time, when he's one of the top babyfaces in territory wrestling history and one of my favorite, and imo one of the best babyface Authority figure runs in Smokey Mountain. Justice for the Bullet!"

[10.0] "One of the top babyfaces from the territory days. tippy way up top tier top. 5 star promo artist who could weave a labyrinth of deep cut, old world cliché's second to no one. One of the first true architects of mic skills, will sometimes utterly floor you with his pace and delivery. In the ring? Almost as great. Pure technical babyface with a seemingly limitless repertoire of offense and counters. Tag team expert and his team with son Brad has got to be the best father/son tag team EVER. If he had better competition during his heyday, I think we'd have an even higher score but you can't do much better than 9.5!"

[9.0] "An absolute legend in a family of great wrestling tradition. Back into the territory days, in Georgia, Bob Armstrong was babyface hotter than a Hawaii vulcano! Legendary career, with many great moments and lots of prestige titles! He deserves soooo much credit for his ilustruous career!"

[8.0] "I'm a bit too young to have seen Armstrong wrestle during his career, but in terms of his sheer longevity and influence on the business of pro wrestling, an 8 seems like a no-brainer. His stuff in TNA didn't do him many favors, but his career in the Georgia territory speaks for itself."

Super Mastodon wrote on 06.03.2016:
[8.0] "I don't get the low ratings for "Bullet" Bob Armstrong. He is easily one of the greatest of all time and an underrated legend at that! He is the patriarch of one of the greatest wrestling families and is probably Georgia's biggest name in terms of wrestling! He doesn't get the credit that he truly deserves."

[10.0] "Anyone who gives Armstrong any less than AT LEAST an 8 out of 10 clearly has no knowledge or understanding of the history of the wrestling business. Armstrong was one of the hottest babyfaces in southern wrestling history and was part of some of the most groundbreaking feuds and angles of ALL TIME."
