I feel so bad that his ratings are this bad, mainly for his TNA run when people rated him for what was happening irl at the time, when he's one of the top babyfaces in territory wrestling history and one of my favorite, and imo one of the best babyface Authority figure runs in Smokey Mountain. One of the first true architects of mic skills, will sometimes utterly floor you with his pace and delivery. In the ring? Almost as great. Pure technical babyface with a seemingly limitless repertoire of offense and counters. Tag team expert and his team with son Brad has got to be the best father/son tag team EVER. If he had better competition during his heyday, I think we'd have an even higher score but you can't do much better than 9.5!"

[8.0] "I'm a bit too young to have seen Armstrong wrestle during his career, but in terms of his sheer longevity and influence on the business of pro wrestling, an 8 seems like a no-brainer. His stuff in TNA didn't do him many favors, but his career in the Georgia territory speaks for itself."
