Beast Mortos

[8.0] "GRAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I love Beast Mortos. His Lucha style mixed with his look and ability to move the way he does in his mask is simply unreal. You have to hate everything to not like Mortos. The guy can put on a great match with anyone. I honestly just think he's great. He's The Beast Mortos simply put. He gets an 8 from me."

[8.0] "Beast Mortos rules dude. In an industry that cares too much (at times) about realism and believability, Mortos is a welcome wrestler. He's literally a fucking bull! How cool is that? The guy is built crazy and has an insane look. You know you're in for something memorable when you see him and at the end of the day, what else can you really ask for?"

[7.0] "Always watchable and an interesting and capable enough character combining deceptive Lucha agility with some of the power stuff. His Pop Up Samoan Drop's great and he excels at throwing the other Mexican guys around. Glad he got to main event Dynamite recently, problem is he's barely won a match on TV this year. AEW does this with a few of their big guys (Brian Cage, Brody King). Fine, not everyone can be top tier but looked capable of being a level or so up early AEW / ROH appearances."

[9.0] "What I do not understand how he can wrestle with a mask that big. Honestly, he is extremely talented inside the ring mixing lucha libre abilities with him being a more powerful wrestler than most wrestlers he goes against. He has a great gimmick that fans get into."

[6.0] "His gimmick is limiting, but it's one of those ones that will draw in the younger boys. It was cool to see fans get behind him a few weeks ago in the tournament. He'll never get beyond a certain point, but as far as being a jobber to the stars, he works in that role. Every company needs someone for that position."

[9.0] "Absolutely one of my favorite current gimmicks in wrestling, and thank god it's attached to a big guy luchador that can do it all. Very genuinely, the only thing this big high flying powerhouse monster is missing in his current run of AEW is a booker willing to give him a spot higher on the card like he has had in other promotions."

[8.0] "Incredible luchador, weather as Black Taurus, or this new AEW character 'Beast Mortos', the guy is a monster in the ring, super stiff, a total heavy hitter, and also very technical and with a sharp technique as well. He's for sure a beast, I enjoy a lot his matches, and he's one of those guys that has an anarchic aura, doesn't matter if he's looking more friendly or not, he's like, not human and not rational, just a monster trained to demolish other wrestlers, which is a gimmick that I really like and it's becoming rarer through the years, like some kind of Hulk, a beast that can't be controlled, and in his case, can't even talk, but he surely can hit people."

[9.0] "An absolute BEAST (pun intended) in the ring. A pretty big guy and yet so athletic and agile that it is pretty scary. I had only really seen clips of Taurus in places like PWG or other smaller indie promotions, but his time in AEW has really helped elevate him and show people how incredible he is. An absolute marvel in the ring and somebody that I will always tune in to watch."

[8.0] "Such an amazing wrestler and a fantastic luchador. He is perfect for weekly matches against other great wrestlers and luchadores like Rey Fenix, Hologram Konosuke Takeshita, and many others. He has an amazing look and I love that they put him with LFI. Overall an amazing luchador who I'm excited to see more of."

[8.0] "I really respect him as a wrestler, but one of the most exciting luchadors on the modern scene right now. His character doesn't need any promo, since he really delivers as a pure beast. Let alone, one of the safest wrestlers I've seen in some times while looking the most dangerous. I can't see him fully as main eventer, but a great mid-card talent who can win a single title or two while in AEW."

[9.0] "One of the best things to happen to AEW in a long time. In the upper echelon of performers that I've been so duly impressed with in such a short period of time, & hopefully AEW will strap a belt on him & send him on his way reasonably soon. I need more Ricochet vs The Beast Mortos in my life, I wouldn't mind a multi-match sequence between them at all. This guy's got Samoa Joe levels of "moves fiendishly fast for his size, " & his aesthetics are so A-game that it's just insane; I don't mind that he's mute, because his outfits, stature & sheer speed for his size are just so imposing & intimidating. It's startling; for how "box-like" & "muscle-bound" this guy is, all of his matches are fluid and impressive, & none of them are "clunky" or "awkward." A Tatanka-like body structure, which is always a great thing to have. I can't wait to see what's in the cards for Frank going forward!"

[9.0] "Mortos is so freaking fun and good, is able to do so much in a short period of time because all of his stuff looks so damn good. Really able to meld the lucha style with a more American style, and presents so well on TV. Love watching him and think he's one of the most fun characters on American TV right now"

[7.0] "A luchador with a difference. Wrestles a luchdore style like a heavyweight. Would rate him higher if there was more to his gimmick. He is basically mute - note there is no promo section in his CM profile."

[8.0] "The fact that he can do the things he does at his size speaks for itself. Mortos is one of the best wrestlers in the world today and im shocked AEW doesn't jump strap the rocket to him. His match with Hologram was actually TUFF and a MOTY contender. When Mortos is wrestling you know its gonna be a fun match."

[9.0] "bias here cause he's my personal favorite, great intensity unique moveset it's really all it needs here but he does have a really great look to back everything up. I think what makes him great is that he get match up with high flyers and able to deliver something different, allowing to shine through."

[8.0] "I have been following Black Taurus for a long time and he continues to surprise me. Initially, I was attracted by his look - he is very convincing and inspiring. At the same time, Taurus is very good as an in-ring performer and not so long ago he was able to move to the States, where he began to actively perform in Impact Wrestling, where he became part of a new version of the Decay. In addition, he is a frequent guest in MLW, PWG and other federations. A talented guy, it's very interesting to see what will be waiting for him next."

[8.0] "Incredibly talented big man. He works the powerhouse style but also wrestles lucha libre style and can fly real well for his size . He has good presence and is somewhat intimidating even though his mask is kinda goofy. Incredible strength agility and move set. I feel he is underrated the should be showcased on a bigger platform"

[8.0] "A great powerhouse wrestler who can move like a guy half his size. He is a Joy to watch he puts so much power into every move he does. I am glad he's gotten a bigger international platform, so more people gets to enjoy this world class wrestler."

[8.0] "Taurus could be considered one of Wrestling's greatest promises if he were about 5 years younger. even so, it's exploding very well and it's doing great fights. He has a great future and can easily be one of the next impact champions."

[8.0] "One of the best bases in lucha. His offense looks devastating and any high flying wrestler can work off of him with ease. Elevates lesser talent up to his level. Is currently wasted in places like Impact and deserves better."

[8.0] "I hadn t seen Black Taurus before 2019. His match on impact and his match in Mlw impressed me so I looked him up. He is a very good luchador that has a lot of potential, even though he is already 32. He is just now blowing up in the states, being also booked in pwg and gcw. He is booked for bola, so let s see how he does there."
