[5.0] "As a young fan, he made me feel uncomfortable. As an adult - even more so! Gave off vibes that he was legitimately terrifying in real life. His promos would start normal enough but he would get exponentially louder & more aggressive with every passing word. Far too intense when it wasn't necessary to be intense whatsoever. Had one hell of a look, had brief moments of goodness - but I swear most of his headlocks were shoots and it made for some awkward moments; yknow, let go already and go to work, why are you holding the other wrestler hostage? Something about him though, there is an aura. I really liked Black Blood & I know why, it's my appreciation for horror leaking into my love for 'rasslin. Best opponent: Hercules Hernandez. Hard to rate, a 5 is what he gets for confusing me as a fan, he is also indeed legitimately insane. Steer clear of Billy Jerk Haynes."

Post Mania 3, he was stuck on the house show circuit doing tag matches and teaming with Ken Patera, doing jobs to Demolition and the like."

[6.0] "Probably not a very popular opinion, but I really like Haynes. He did not pretend to be a main eventer, but he was a very strong mid-carder with a good physique and not bad skills in the ring. I learned about him from his work in Portland and later in WWF, where he had several notable matches, for example with Hercules Hernandez, and WCW, where he was not particularly remembered. I think he was just a decent worker, nothing more, but he coped well with his role."

[6.0] "This guy was memorable in Portland. Great at promos. Moves were decent. Sometimes they were too repetitive with just kicks and punches. WWF he was mid-carded can can do a good Full Nelson. His feud with Hercules was good. His promos about Stone Cold Steve Austin make me laugh. Even the one about Vince McMahon and wrestlers who have died. He needs to jut move on and enjoy his life. Sad that he is not doing well with his health and mentality."

[7.0] "Was all set to be a huge star with a very over gimmick... but personal demons destroyed his career. Became undependable to build a program around. Ive heard some shoot interviews from haynes and its unfortunate how messed up his life was... but then he blames the wwe for alot of his problems too. Other wrestlers who have talked about haynes in their shoots give me the impression he wasnt considered one of the boys. Still, as far as raw charisma and believable credibility in the ring go, this guy had enough that he could have been an alltime great."
