"[6/10] A talented mid-carder with plenty of time to work his promo game & presence up. I remember watching his early 205 Live stuff & I was always elated to see him, and it's a pleasure to see that he's grown up and is pounding around on Smackdown now. For people like Berto, the world is their oyster."

[6.0] "He's good looking and can show a good match, but to show his charisma, WWE should put him to the storyline against Legado and make him something bigger than this, but stars like Berto finish as NXT comebacks and leave the company after sometime there"

[8.0] "Just like Angel, Humberto is a very good wrestler with a great look and I don't know why WWE has failed to do anything with him."

[3.0] "Somehow worse than Angel. Their the same in most aspects but he is a weaker in ring performer and less athletic. He never worked or will work infront of a crowd in a major US Promotion. His bland and forgettable with 0 charisma, 0 mic skills and 0 presence.Not a good wrestler."

[6.0] "He's not Angel Garza but he's still a good wrestler who found his place in WWE after a rough couple of years. I like his team with Garza."

[6.0] "Humberto Carillo is a name that inspires a smooth luchador. Berto is what you call Bert down in the warehouse. I don't know what was behind the name change but it's not helping. He's a pretty talented guy and it's a shame."

[6.0] "Talented highflyer. In the ring he is a really good wrestler with an excited high-flying style. He has not shown the most charisma and mic skills in the United States. He is best as a babyface as he seems inorganic as a heel, but it can work when paired with Garza."

[4.0] "Pretty good in the ring, but he's incredibly bland. Being Garza's tag team partner is the furthest he can go in the WWE."

[5.0] "Humberto has been a generic Mexican luchador in WWE. Very talented in ring worker but no character to get you invested. Nothing really interesting about him. Hopefully pairing him with his cousin can lead to some character development for him."

[6.0] "Humberto Carrillo, great charisma, good ring work for his young age and tries putting on a performance with any opportunity he gets however he is basic on the microphone -- stutters are common. Humberto follows with many of his Mexican wrestler heroes by performing a high fly move set to tribute the likes of Rey Mysterio which he has mentioned that he is a great fan of. He has not accomplished anything in WWE yet but he is still young and has chances in the future -- he has had chances for titles before with his feud with Andrade for the United States Championship and more recently Sheamus for his United States Championship."

[7.0] "I like him, he's really good in the ring and incredibly fluid, but he also needs proper character and a chance."

[4.0] "Humberto Carrillo is still a very young worker, but he has a lack of charisma which outweighs his workrate at the moment. I'm not sure if he'll work out in WWE, but he has a lot of poetential. He could use a character change."

[9.0] "I have no idea why Humberto Carrillo gets the hate he gets. he is great in the ring, very good on the mic, and doesnt deserve the hate he gets, i see him maybe winning the royal rumble in the future and maybe a future us champ."

[6.0] "A decent talent Humberto still has a long future and i do see oneday being a world champion in WWE, he is best at doing his lucha and high flying moves and that aztec press is next level agility, with some more experince he will become a better wrestler."

[4.0] "I don't believe he's that bad of a wrestler, he's fairly decent in the ring, but my goodness everything else about him is plain boring"

[3.0] "I've given him a fair chance before giving a rating and it could change, but so far I have seen nothing in Carrillo that impresses. His offence is so sloppy, he misses strikes by such a distance, so often that it almost becomes part of the match. When commentators consistently say, "he didn't get all of that! " to cover his mistakes, something is going very wrong. His entire moveset is made up of weak and tame attacks that wouldn't hurt at all in a real fight, his two moonsault finishers being perfect examples. I cannot understand why this boy has been pushed straight onto the same level as superstars who have earned their spot through hard work and years of perfecting the art of wrestling. Seeing Carrillo booked to a par with AJ Styles is a travesty."

[7.0] "He can put on good matches. He needs a gimmick change though, as good match quality won't be enough to make him connect with the audience."

[7.0] "I think this kid is getting too much undeserved hate. His in ring action is amazing, and he has shown to be able to go at it against AJ Styles and Seth Rollins. This goofy superhero costume though, just like his entire "persona" or lack thereof" on 205 Live, seem to have appeared out of nowhere. No context, no storyline, no build-up. Also, is he a heel, or a baby-face? Because he seems to have a baby-face character, yet he has tagged with heels on both Monday night Raw and 205 Live. His mic ability is currently a little lacking, however I'm sure there is plenty of time for Carrillo to work on that skill. I believe that if the WWE invests more energy into building up this character, there's a potential for creating the second Rey Mysterio."

[0.0] "Such a terrible wrestler. He is bad at everything, including his in-ring "talent", when he botches everything. Humberto haven't seen to be a little charismatic, his mic skill is so poor. Just bad at all. Even his finisher is so ridiculous, just like his other moves. He is boring and not talented. I hope some day WWE would forget about him just like they did with Sin Cara, who, by the way, is better than this poor boy."

[8.0] "Entertaining wrestler, he has potential that deserves to be exploited properly. And he has to stay in 205 Live or NXT, in the main roster, he would get lost in the shuffle. Overall, i hope he will have a bright future, he deserves to."

[5.0] "Humberto Carrillo kind of appeared one day out of thin air. When most of the NXT roster have decent build, Humberto did not. He also has a pretty unremarkable persona & look. I still can't figure out if they're actually pushing him or if he's only there to be a jobber. If memory serves, he's had some wins, so I don't know. He has the face of a child which will do him no favors. Solid in the ring with some unique offense, but I can't find myself to be behind him thus far. I think he could use a repackage."

[8.0] "Really impressive high flyer with a lot of potential. He has a great look and if we get some character development he could become one of the more charismatic wrestlers on the brand. Humberto is a perfect fit for 205."
