Austin Gunn

[4.0] "One of Billy Gunn' sons. Honestly, probably no one is the building have a better presentation than those guys. Tony Khan even used 50 Cent's song Many Men one time just to make a cool entrance for them, crazy shit. Their ring style doesn't move me a bit, but they are entertaining, I give them that."

[7.0] "Austin has gotten pretty good, imo. Especially in tag team matches. I think him and Juice have had a fun little run together while the rest of the BBG heals up."

[7.0] "Austin Gunn is a wrestler we are seeing grow in real time. Originally brought into AEW far before he was ready, Gunn has progressed nicely into a rock solid tag team wrestler, be that with his brother Colton or any combination of the Bang Bang Gang."

[7.0] "Super solid guy who has tons of charisma and is getting better and better in ring. Really has the potential to grow even more and excited to see what he's going to grow into. VERY natural on the mic and has a really great look, extremely underrated on how he can go and want to see him work all over the world to improve even more"

[8.0] "Most of these ratings seem to come from when Austin was still very green in AEW, because the difference between his debut and his current work is night and day. Austin is really good addition to the roster. He does great work in the ring and he is particularly excellent when it comes to selling. His time with Bullet Club Gold has allowed him to shine even more, displaying both his skill as a talker and his solid character work in playing off his stablemates. From his debut to now, Austin is easily one of the most improved members of the AEW roster and he is certainly a favorite of mine."

[9.0] "Austin on his own has tons of potential. You can tell by the way he talks, walks, and wrestles that he could be a good wrestler one day. The only thing holding him back is Colten (sorry Colten). Plus with this new Bullet Club gold gimmick is amazing, so good that even colten is improving a lot. Either way, I am big on the Austin Gunn hype train, in the ring he may be bland, but hes got everything else."

[5.0] "The very definition of a fun lower mid card heel. He is there to be a bit annoying and get beat up and he does it well. I am not sure he will ever amount to much more but that's perfectly fine because TV wrestling needs the kind of worker and character he is."

[8.0] "Austin and Colten have put in so much work and come so far. Austin has a special kind of charisma and presence when he is on the microphone that I think he will be a longtime fixture of pro wrestling for as long as he wants it. His in-ring work is above average and the tag team finish of an elevated flatliner is pretty cool."

[6.0] "Both Austin and his brother has improved over the past few years. Before they were bland and green but they are now starting to show charisma and have improved greatly in the ring. Better as heels than faces right now for sure."

[6.0] "In the ring, I don't know that Austin is anything great. He oversells, sometimes comically so, sometimes obnoxiously so. But he's a really fun heel character. The crowd has a lot of fun egging him on because it makes it fun for them with his overacting. He's got a solid future as a midcard heel-- a pure heel too, not somebody that the crowd boos but thinks is actually cool. Austin has improved a ton in the last year, and while I think he has a ways to go, he's pretty fun right now."

[5.0] "He and his brother have improved quite a bit in the last year or so. They still aren't particularly great BUT given where they were last year its still quite impressive. Maybe I'll come back to this in a year or so and bump the rating up even more."

[7.0] "I don't understand this rating. I think, that The Gunn Brothers have potential. They are good heels."

[7.0] "Austin and Colten have a good future ahead of them, they're not exceptional, but they've definitely surpassed their father. It's a solid tag team."

[6.0] "Substantially better than his current rating here. A good heel worker who shines like a diamond in the rough among his father and brother with his dedication to character and clean ring work. Should emerge from the Gunn club as the one to have a singles run."

[4.0] "Austin and his brother are pretty interchangeable, they're what they are, good lower midcard guy on a roster."

[7.0] "A very entertaining young wrestler. His in-ring work is solid but his character work is where he really shines. He has the charisma that immediately draws you in. If his in-ring ability improves to match it, he can be a star."

[6.0] "I can see some potential with Austin Gunn actually. Not really with Colten, but with Austin for sure. He seems to have inherited some of his father's charisma, has a good tribute look, and is a genuinely annoying heel, which makes it fun to boo him. He seems to be in the right role right now, and the main issue is his severely lacking in-ring work which HAS to improve over time for him to be taken seriously and given a chance in the spotlight. Right now, satisfactory, but has the potential to get better, don't focus on just his greenness, focus on the other aspects too, those are just as important."

[2.0] "Inadequate in the ring, and still has plenty of development to go. Hopefully his father passes down more of his knowledge, as he still needs it."

[4.0] "Wholly unremarkable and has done nothing or been in any particularly interesting matches. He's been in the business four years, the "he's green" argument kinda stops after the first two, four is definitely pushing it at this point. It really just feels like he's there because of his dad: no hard feelings there, even Bret was someone who relied on his dad's connections for a foot in the door: but still. Has a good look but as of now, I don't really see what I'm supposed to be impressed by. He's very average."

[4.0] "Considered to be the voice of the Pandemic era by AEW, the only thing Austin Gunn has done of note aside from having the loudest reactions as a crowd member, and stay in the shadow of his father. He's very unremarkable, both when it comes to gimmick and in-ring work."

[4.0] "Austin Gunn is an adaquete wrestler, but his work in the Gunn Club is more often than not, uninteresting. The Gunn club has one of the best records on AEW Dark, but more often than not, one hopes it's a quick match so you can get to more interesting wrestlers."

[4.0] "A man without whom the quarantine era would be a little more boring. He's still pretty green in the ring, but at least he can claim to be the PERFECT fan"
