[8.0] "One of the great legends of Memphis, Bill Dundee is a really good wrestler, he fits very well with the southern style, and I rate very highly some of his brawls, he's an excellent puncher, the perfect opponent for Jerry 'The King' Lawler, their rivalry is fantastic and they had a lot of chemistry together. The Superstar worked very well both as face and heel, and I've watched incredible performances from him in both alignments, but he's very special as a heel, phenomenal seller. The tag team with Lawler is also great, and produced some interesting matches."

[6.0] "Even though your gut instinct was to write him off (he was one of the smallest guys ever-ever), he had a way of sucking you in eventually if you allowed it. Perfect grasp on timing and pacing when given time. The Mid South material ranges from acceptable to very watchable. Very good tag team partner over the years (w/Jimmy Garvin vs Bob & Brad Armstrong World Championship Wrestling Nov 29 86 is a strong example). Had some good stuff going on in Texas. That being said, I was never really into the Memphis territory overall and he wasn't much in Crockett. I liked him as Sir William in WCW. What I like is solid but he can also annoy and provide "go away" heat. 5.5"

"The importance of Dundee, Dutch & obviously Lawler to the Memphis territory over the years can't be overstated. Dundee had a great mind for the business, not only working as a main eventer for nearly 2 decades but also doing a phenomenal job at booking for Memphis & Mid-South. One of the 1980s most memorable, as both a babyface and heel"

[10.0] "The Superstar! The one and the only. Bill Dundee was an amazing crowd pleaser in the Memphis area. He had the athleticism, the look, the build, and he did it all at 5'7" and usually billed at 5'6". His feuds with Lawler were classic and the Tupelo Concession Stand Brawl as Lawler's tag partner against the Blonde Bombers was absolute mayhem. One of the most underrated wrestlers ever. When I think of all the duds who made it in WWE, I am at a loss as to why Dundee was never scooped up. He was classic and deserves a Hall of Fame Induction."

[8.0] "Fearless in the ring, Dundee always delivered action-packed and smart matches. People always consider his matches with Lawler in 83 and 85 as the greatest matches in Memphis during the territory days, but Dundee had plenty of other great matches (for instance against Junkyard Dog). Highly underrated!"
