Allie Katch

[2.0] "She's very slow and clunky and with nearly a decade of experience that's inexcusable. I've watched some of her matches and have been entertained, especially with Effy but that's just comedic sideshow stuff and is sporadic. At one point, maybe she still does this I'm not sure, her gimmick was "starstruck fan" when in a match with a person signed to a larger promotion. It does take some gusto to basically tell the audience you know you're not good enough."

[2.0] "One of the worst i've seen, trying to much to impress on things that are ridiculous and not for that worker. Sometimes out of shape and dangerous, clearly not the most athletic people you will find, some "showing" strenght spot that CAN look good but are sometimes a disaster. Does nice comedy. very irregular. not horrible hardcore/gimmick matches."

[1.0] "Just the absolute worst of indie wrestling here. Out of shape, nonathletic person that shouldn't even be medically cleared to be in a ring. Only has garbage matches to hide the fact that she can't wrestle. She is legitimately one of those wrestlers that give you second hand embarrassment if you watch her matches."

[2.0] "Not my type of wrestler seen her a few times no idea why she is so over maybe it is just me but from what I have seen not for me very boring to watch and no hype when it comes to her matches. Just can not get behind her matches she has just turned heel so this may do her some good getting some heat fans seem to be into her so their must be something I have not seen yet"

[5.0] "Some ratings are harsh, but most are fair. To her credit, she is flying the flag for independent wrestling where the supply of women wrestlers is low, and demand is high, which is why so many go to larger promotions even if never used. She seems to have more psychology in deathmatches than, say, Sawyer Wreck or Charli Evans. I wonder how her career would have gone if she kept the cat gimmick. At least it was memorable. She seems directionless. Her recent heel turn is needed, so we shall see if things improve. People seem invested in her, though, so there must be something there."

[6.0] "Judging by her most recent matches in DDT, it's clear to me she's gotten better than whatever infuriated this sites users in 2022. I was aware of BUSSY/THRUSSY but never really got the chance to watch them, but given that she was arguably the best worker in a match that featured Kazuki Hirata, I'm tempted to seek out their matches."

[6.0] "I think shes pretty solid on the ring. ive only seen one bad match so far and it seemed more like just an off day. love her in bussy/ thrussy as well. she continually tops herself while still keeping the mood fun? not sure if its the right word but shes been a joy to watch"

[8.0] "One of my favorite wrestlers, I'll watch every match of hers. She's solid in ring, not perfect by any means but much better than the weird comments here would lead you to believe. She's versatile, she'll do a comedy match one day and meet Nick Gage at his level the next. And her character/gimmick/personality(? ) is perfect, her energy is infectious. There's a reason audiences connect with her so immediately."

[10.0] "omg her average is only 4.41! ? ! She's so crazy good! like generational talent good! I haven't seen her ever put on a bad match, ever. I haven't even seen her put on a mediocre match. Bangers people! They are all bangers! Don't even get me started on how entertaining her commentary and promos are. She's in bussy for god sakes! She's also super nice! I wish I could do more than one rating because there is no justice in her rating at all! I liked her allie kat gimmick but I think her moving away from it was a good idea because she has much more depth and meaning than just being an allie cat. There have been songs written about her and she is celebrated and loved all over the world. I can't count the number of times i've been straight up wowed in one of her matches. Like jaw dropping head shaking involuntary reaction of "Effing Wow." I don't get it. I'm gonna go buy some allie katch merch because she deserves to sell all the merch."

[6.0] "Not nearly as bad as some of these reviews suggest, I will leave it at that. BUSSY is a good act, as well, she deserves credit for helping make that work."

[0.0] "Going to be honest, she's one of the worst I seen. I try to give her a chance time after time but Allie cannot go. For me, she's the independent version of Eva Marie. GCW has issues as it is and showcasing her among people who are better is a shame. Her cardio is worse than mine after being in a deep depression after shattering my tibia recovery being rough. The only reason she has relevancy is because of Effy and he's not even that great either. Literally rather watch Ric Flair vs Death himself in a match. 8+ years of training and nothing to show and more reasons I never check out GCW."

"Literally one of the worst I've seen. She has no physique, no cardio, she moves worse than Mark Henry on an ice rink.... 8 years training? The first time I read it, my hopes of being a main eventer at 48 years old at Wrestlemania returned. The only good thing I've seen about her is that the public likes to see her defeated and bouncing around the ring..........and her greasy ass, for sure."

[1.0] "Alike Katch is bad. Shes just bad. You can tell shes bad because of the reaction Joshi twitter had to the possibility of her having a match against Utami. They were literally begging for anyone else other than Allie Katch. Thats how bad she is. She gets a point for being funny though"

[2.0] "I can understand why someone would enjoy Allie Katch. She certainly doesn't lack for effort. All the effort in the world, however, does not mask that her matches simply do not connect with me on any fundamental level, and her skillset does not match what she attempts to present herself as. Were she to wrestle exclusively as a single, a return to her cat gimmick would likely be a better choice. She is more suited for shorter matches that showcase her personality and sense of humor, but would likely be seen as a step backward that she would naturally not want to take. As it stands, wrestling in a tag team with EFFY or in a trio with EFFY and DARK Sheik is the smartest play for her, and it seems to be the avenue she is taking. I hope to revisit this and give her a higher score in future, but for now, she gets a 2."

[9.0] "She's a wrestler that works in many different styles. She can put over anyone you need to or be a dominant champion. She understands and loves wrestling. She has way too much of a low rating."

[6.0] "While Allie may not be the strongest in the ring, her charisma and chemistry with tag partner Effy help to cover up those faults. Her match with Dango from the 2022 Gay Brunch show is a great one to check out."

[8.0] "The reviews here are, as a whole, ridiculous. Allie Katch is a good wrestler. She's solid in the ring, she's super charismatic, and she knows how to work a crowd, which is why she gets over in all the places she works."

[8.0] "I disagree with a lot of the very negative reviews here. I think Allie's work in-ring has steadily improved, and the move from Kat to Katch has been a great choice character-wise. Good at building audience investment."

[1.0] "I feel like my fandom of Allie has been on a gradual decline ever since I first saw at the GCW Orange Cassidy show. My first impression was "Oh that gimmick's funny, she's a cat." And then I watched wrestle and was under the impression that she was still a little green. She's been a little green for four years now, her character change into a "Hey look I can wrestle, I'm not just a gimmick." sucks eggs cause she's not very good at wrestling and her gimmick was the strongest part of her."

[1.0] "More and more wrestlers have started to prioritize being over on twitter more than actually being good at wrestling and she's probably the worst of the bunch. Awful wrestler in every sense of the word and the fact she's a consistent part of possibly the biggest US indie going right now doesn't help anyone. Of all the acts to come through GCW she's the only one I have never understood why anyone would like"

[2.0] "Bad wrestler. Prioritizes being a Twitter account over being an actual wrestler. Has gotten more big matches and big shots than any unsigned women this decade and has squandered each and every single one of them"

[1.0] "I can't give her a zero, but I think that Allie Katch is about as close as you can get to it. From attempting moves that she cannot perform safely, to getting gassed within minutes, to calling herself an advocate for mental health but seemingly doing everything in her power to act against it, Allison is extremely hard to like."

[3.0] "I used to be very high on Allie a couple of years ago when she was a fresh-face in GCW with a lot of potential. In the years since then though she's been massively exposed in the ring. It doesn't help that up until Masha Slamovich and Dark Sheik recently, she's been the only consistent woman on the GCW roster and whenever she's booked in a womens-only match, it's with far more talented wrestlers who show her up in the match (Mickie James, Jordynne Grace, Charli Evans, etc). She has a likeable and charismatic presence but it doesn't translate well in promos. Her work often looks fake and sloppy, she seems to get tired very quickly too. She's been given so many opportunities in the past two years and every time she's disappointed. She fares a lot better in hardcore and deathmatches but outside of that her matches aren't very fun to watch."

[6.0] "Just barely passable in the ring, but very charismatic and over with most crowds and willing to match her opponent's energy as best she can. Her look is...well let's just say her look appeals to me but I'm not everybody. GCW putting her over like a legend of women's wrestling does her a disservice if anything, she's a good talent but not that kind of talent."

[5.0] "She's a good representative for GCW, is charismatic and has visibly improved in the ring but there's still a lot left to be desired in the latter. Her conditioning is really off to the point of looking dangerous at times and she's gone over more talented females. I think GCW needs to have at least another woman wrestler who can be a face of the brand. Dark Sheikh is an obvious one, but there are so many awesome women on the east coast who could also fill a spot."

[0.0] "Allie Katch needs a conditioning coach. I've seen her in four matches, two were passable, two have been bad. Shes gassed out in two of them. I'm still trying to figure out how she had a bad match with Thunder Rosa! She's the equivilant to someone like Public Enemy in ECW. She works in GCW, that's fine, but if she goes anywhere else before she drastically improves - and she needs to drastically improve - she'll sink, hard."

[4.0] "Full of personality but I can not say I am a huge fan, I did not mind the Allie Kat gimmick but she obviously want to take her career in a different direction. Fair play she does really well in GCW."

I know it is an Indy Gimmick but I don't enjoy it at all and makes me not watching the Show and rather turn it off. I will never understand any hype around her matches and her as a Wrestler. (0/10)"

[0.0] "Can't wrestle and can't promo in any way. Inexplicably has made it to GCW levels on the indie circuit which defies all logic considering how awful she is in ring."

[5.0] "I will admit it is entertaining to watch her matches because there's usually a laugh I can get out of it, but after that her matches are really sloppy with one on occasion actually decent, but I do like the cat gimmick and how dedicated she is to it."
