[2.0] "Like Brutus Beefcake, he got a lot further in wrestling because of his friendships. Granted, he was also a trainer and Beefcake was not, but one bought tickets specifically to see either guy. When he was younger he seemed destined for big things but he doesn't have much charisma and really can't cut a good promo. Not everyone is going to be or needs to be the top star so his place in wrestling is as good as it'll ever get."

[8.0] "Underrated. As a technical wrestler, I sincerely put him up there with the best, they didn't call him the indie Benoit for no reason - and while that now may be an unfortunate and dated comparison, if focusing purely on the wrestling, I don't think it's all that hyperbolic. His work in the Second City Saints was very noteworthy, but I think he really shines as a trainer. One of the ultimate what ifs for me, what if he got booked better in WWE? Who knows what could have happened, I don't think he would have ever have reached superstardom but I think he would have been more remembered"

"Phenomenal wrestler but even better coach. He a coach that will put words behind the magic we see on T.V. where other coaches will just reference it as if we should already know."

[6.0] "Well, now seems like the best time to review the career of Ace Steel. Steel is a longtime journeyman wrestler, his most notable time coming in NOAH and ROH. He's carved a solid career for himself, and is also responsible for training Colt Cabana and CM Punk."

[7.0] "Always a good hand to have on the show, a veteran who will probably be known more for training the likes of CM Punk & Colt Cabana rather than his own career but make no mistake Ace Steel could really go when need be. Great performer in his own right."
