[6.0] "Shawn Daivari was a heat magnet. The promos that he would cut as a manager, all in farsi by the way, regardless of who he was out there with got him booed to no end. You didn't know what he was saying, but the emotion he said it with, the passion that he said it with, and the body language he gave off while he delivered it was enough to make you realize that whatever he was saying he meant it. And as a wrestler, I never felt that he got a fair run anywhere he went, seeing as how in WWE he wrestled like a manager or second to someone else more than a wrestler pretty much the entirety of his run, and then by the time he got to TNA the bloom was kind of off the rose on the post 9/11 stuff so they didn't keep him long. I'd have liked to seen where he'd have ended up on his own with a major company run because there was definitely potential there."

"I always liked Daivari. I feel he was misused. They we're to busy trying to make him a terrorist like character due to his race instead of booking him correctly. I think he would've been a great asset to the cruiserweight division.TNA used him better although they also made him a terrorist even more than WWE. They went kind of far with the plane falling in his theme music. But overall a good worker. Deserved more than he got from WWE like alot of talent. Im not saying he's a main eventer or an artist in the ring but he could've been a decent mid carder or CW"

[6.0] "According to Austin Creed, nobody beats Daivari... Too bad that's not true in real life, but Daivari was good. He was never meant to be a comedy wrestler, but I felt he had unintentionally funny moments when he spoke Farsi to other guys and they would either mock him or just stare in confusion. As a wrestler, he was no main event player, but a fine cruiserweight and could've been a solid Crusierweight champion. His size and the fact he was (kayfabe) seen as a nuisance didn't really get him far in WWE, but I liked him as a manager and as a wrestler."

[4.0] "Never liked Daivari. The whole "foreign menace" gimmick is almost as old as wrestling itself, and it's nothing but cheap heat to use that as a gimmick and that be your only stand out trait. Daivari was pretty dire as a manager for guys like Khali or Angle: the latter didn't benefit from it (people were going to cheer for Angle regardless of who was with him) and Khali was still terrible even with him talking. His whole gimmick is one-dimensional and it doesn't get anyone over, like cheap heat is cheap for a reason: it doesn't actually benefit anyone and the impact of it drastically reduces the more you do it. He's a ok wrestler, but he definitely should be in the tag division only as his singles work isn't very nuanced and even top workers struggle to get much out of him."

I know it's somewhat unfair to Shawn, but it's just the way I look at him. He never connected to me no matter what role he was in or what promotion he was working for. Slightly below average."

[7.0] "I was originally very down on him but after re watching the old footage from his run with WWE as the manager of Muhammad Hassan this guy could talk and then seeing him progress in TNA and then again in Lucha Underground made me realize that he was never the best but he would make a great heel in any federation if used properly."

[6.0] "His best time in wrestling was with TNA. After the end of the controversial Muhammed Hussen angle in WWE, Daivari was a man without a country. Or a gimmick. Or a single win. But in TNA, he tapped into the same anger that had been the center of the Hussan controversy, but this time he backed it up with wrestling skill, something he wasn't able to show in WWE. Regrettably, his TNA tenure was short. But he managed to turn his career around after an angle that should have been the death of him."
