Bandido vs. Jeff Cobb vs. Shingo Takagi

[8.0] "Good three-way elimination match between Bandido, Cobb and Shingo right here to conclude the 2018 edition of the Battle Of Los Angeles with three very high quality workers, who could not disappoint us considering the expectations that were placed on them naturally due to the incredible talent they possess. To be perfectly honest the first ten minutes didn't do it for me, I found Shingo useless and I had the impression that the crowd didn't care a bit unfortunately because there wasn't much going on. There was a clear dynamic with Bandido & Shingo teaming up from time to time to take down the monster that is Jeff Cobb, but it felt a little flat for a final. Until that final two between Bandido and Cobb happened, two guys with such different styles but yet clicked so well with Cobb being sold as the monster to take down. Seeing Bandido kicking out of the Tour of the Islands was really shocking as not much wrestlers have already kicked out of that move if I'm not mistaken, the crowd was crazy for every nearfall and for every sequence until the end. The ending with the Tour of the Islands from the third rope was amazing and even Excalibur had lost his voice at this match, these two have an incredible chemistry. First ten minutes, not much to watch on in terms of quality. Last fifteen minutes, awesome stuff."

[3.0] "The first part of the match was OK, and had some nice moves and a decent storyline built around Takagi trying to play Bandido. But once Takagi was eliminated, the match became a meandering and uninspiring parade of moves that had no real rhyme or reason to them, as innovative as some of them were, and were done just to do them. Talk about falling off a cliff."

[10.0] "Possibly my favorite battle of los angeles finals since the triple threat between Sabre, Hero and Speedball. The pwg landscape has drastically changed since then. It was surprising that Shingo made it to the finals, since he is anything but a regular, but he sure did add to the match. Having Bandido in the finals was a great call and having Cobb win the tournament was a great call. Excellent match from these three."

[9.0] "An incredible finals to another incredibly fun tournament. I don't think a lot of people expected Bandido to make it all the way to the finals, but making it shows that PWG has crazy high hopes for him to stick around as a top star. I wish Shingo was able to get in more signature offense, but him being eliminated by Bandido was more than a reason enough to even be in the finals. Cobb was a monster the whole tournament, and didn't stop here as he threw around Bandido and then some. Talk about an amazing stretch too as Bandido and Cobb pretty much threw everything at each other until the end. I guess there wasn't anyone who deserved to win BOLA more than Cobb in this specific tournament, ****1/2."
