It only makes Storm feel like a dumbass. The rest of it wasn't nearly as dreadful. They come up with a creative spot to leave Mariah enough time to blade. But I have some major grippes with the layout of the bout even when talking about a clever sequence like that. The heel being the one getting color, while being the heel and ultimately winning without cheating, feels backwards. The bookers really are lucky that Toni is as over as a babyface as she is, because this is the type of undermainding of your top good girl that can stop ones momentum. |

May's heel turn leading up to this match, which took place on the epic stage of Wembley, set the tone for everything that followed. |

Mariah's win felt cheap, with her taking advantage of Toni's unwillingness to play dirty, and the execution of almost everything was dead on perfect. The crowd reaction at the end after Mariah's victory and her reaction gave me goosebumps. |

It just looks like just really subpar wrestling ultimately, and it's weird that the wrestling part of wrestling is not viewed as the most unique part of a wrestling story. I think there was even a huge debate about this on twitter even god help us, but yeah, this felt like "putting the cart before the horse" - the match. |
