[4.0] "It's an undercard tag match featuring a young lion with less than a year of experience under his belt. This was completely serviceable for what it was."
[5.0] "Mikey and Robbie claiming a victory in their return match. That Robbie is here, shows me that hell probably more involved again. The match itself was average like usual. ***"
[4.0] "Good return for TMDK despite it's a pity that Bishamon has been splitted up for this show since HASHI had to wrestle with Kato that was used essentially to eat the pin. Anyways Eagles and Nicholls/Haste could be pushed as tag champions material in recent future. **"
[5.0] "After a G1 where we saw mostly the same undercard guys it was fun to see some of our favourites return. Of course it's good to see YOSHI-HASHI back and we got a unique team in Eagles/Nicholls, but the story for me here was Shoma Kato's progress as he continues to develop and get the crowd behind him. He really brought the fight to Eagles until he got caught by Turbo Backpack. Hoping for good things for Eagles in NJPW for the rest of 2024, maybe those IWGP Jr. Tag Titles with Kosei Fujita when he's healthy. 2.75 stars"
[5.0] "A solid enough opener, Nicholls and Eagles have good chemistry together and Shoma Kato showed his usual fire. YOSHI-HASHI continued to look good after his great G1 qualifier run earlier in the year, and his exchanges with both Nicholls made an interesting proposal for a Bishimon vs TMDK title match soon. Eagles got the pinfall win over Kato with a Turbo Backpack. The crowd were not too into this but they did get heated at points, all four men put on a good show but ultimately it was a pretty standard opener, and an average quality matchup. Not the worst way to spend 10 minutes but not a highlight or worth seeking out."
