5 | 17.02.2025 | FelipeTalksGraps | 7.0 | [3.5*] Awesome match, the same level as Shingo vs GOK in my opinion. I think I am the only person in the world who preferred their first match, but my reasoning is simple. The early parts of this match were based in Yota Tsujis limb-work in Takeshitas leg. He is not a very good match builder and his strength is 100% the ending stretch, so by building to the climax with his control segments, I thought it had a bit of a downgrade. Take is amazing at everything, but selling is not even on his T5 of best attributes either (he was not bad at it today tho). The ending stretch was obviously phenomenal and incredibly dramatic, as expected. A bizarre difference of level, it looked like 2 completely different matches. It was one of the best ending stretches of the whole tournament. |

19 | 22.10.2024 | Mizzle Assault Ant | 6.0 | Perfectly decent match, I liked it marginally better than their previous one actually, but this pairing doesn't do a ton for me and this wasn't really that different. The skill is there, some cool moments that make it rise above average. Takeshita really looked better of the two but I guess an outsider isn't going farther than the semis. |

31 | 15.09.2024 | enei200 | 8.0 | I feel like this is on par with their first encounter. It had a great build-up, focusing on already damaged knee of Takeshita and slowly pacing in to the second gear. But, the early stage of the match did have some moments that felt too slow for me. Takeshita found some opportunities for offense, but with his knee, it was short-lived, as Yuta always found a way to grab the momentum back to him. The later stage of the match was great and they mixed limb-work and move-trading really well. Takeshita, as always, performed some amazing impactful moves and strikes and Yota responded well to them. The ending felt good, Yota hitting the second Gene Blast looked amazing and unexpected thanks to the New Japan's camera work. Great send-off for Takeshita, I really hope we'll se him more in New Japan ring |

35 | 05.09.2024 | danzitorock | 7.0 | This was obviously a good match, but in my opinion, couldn't match the level of their round 1 encounter, this was clearly worse... it had a good ending stretch and of course they showed a nice chemistry, but the developmental part of the match wasn't interesting enough to justify the praise and the final work - {***1/2} |

72 | 19.08.2024 | cal9099 | 8.0 | Much like their prior match, these two delivered the hard hitting spectacle you'd hope for. Once again, we didn't get a classic or a MOTY contender, but this was great and certainly better for me than the Shingo vs O-Khan match before it. Tsuji stepped up and Takeshita is likely the tournament MVP. ****1/4 |

I feel like there is an interesting match hidden here somewhere, but first Takeshita would have to learn to sell that damn leg of his. Tsuji moving on was definitely the right choice, let's hope he can have better matches moving on. |

97 | 17.08.2024 | PR | 6.0 | Just like the match prior we have a targeted body part that plays no effect in the finish or is being selled all too well. At least Takeshita was not weird enough to only hit knee strikes...Overall it was pull off a bit better than the other playoff match with some nice sequences, but once again Takeshita and/or Tsuji do not do it for me all to much in this tournament. |
