[5.0] "[2.5*] Decent match. It started off with a pretty bland brawl on the outside where Naito was mostly running away from Gabe, then they had a second brawl on the crowd that was good, specially when they used the chairs. The match continued in a slow pace until Gabe hit a good Backdrop Driver. The first Destino reversing the Suplex was god awful and the second one at the ending where Naito reversed it into a roll-up was just great, a small glimpse of his old self that I loved. But man, I just can not bump a rating because the World Champion did a finish properly, even if I was pretty happy about it, because it is just strange lol. The trash-talk from Gabe was cool too, a pretty fine match overall."

[6.0] "Good match, probably the most fluid match Naito wrestled in this G1, he's been struggling a lot and it feels like every Naito match is built to hide his flaws and make it easy for him to not embarrass himself, but here he needed to work and he delivered a lot, despite botching a Destino (again), the match had a fun brawl outside and I've liked the sequences and the work they did in the ring, the ending was great as well, with the Destino + Roll-up, good call, Gabe was incredible here - {***}"

[5.0] "It was OK. Most of the match controlled by Gabe with Naito having very few offense. Fight outside was fun, but it had a lot of stalling. Sudden rol-up finish was ok, but felt unsatisfying, seeing the world champ taking the win like that. Naito has been struggling this G1, but I hope he'll find his moment yet."

The stuff outside the ring was very dull and the in-ring work was just fine. It got a small bump for me for the cool roll-up finish which protects Kidd to a degree. ***"

Irgendwie hat es dieser körperlich eingeschränkte Naito geschafft, dass besondere Gabe Kidds Matches herauszuziehen (im negativen Sinne)"

[5.0] "***1/4 normal match, it was at Naito's pace, the start with the Brawl was good, but then they spent a long time at a slow and leisurely pace without any escalation of pace and when they just made that escalation of pace the match ended with Naito's small package"

The leader of the LIJ didn't also do a bad job and I liked how he gave Gabe the control of the match and picked up the win in a cheap way. Good enough. ***1/4"

[6.0] "This was a nice consolidation of Kidd's rise of late, even in a loss. Naito having to resort to a roll-up keeps Kidd looking like a brutally credible star on the rise, and Naito was able to use some smoke and mirrors to look much more solid than he has for most of the tournament. The brawling around the ring spots were timed better than usual, and Kidd's character work bounced off of Naito's very well. A higher profile rematch further down the line with higher stakes could prove to be very interesting."

[6.0] "This was a really interesting matchup, not necessarily great but definitely interesting to see how Naito will continue to work in the state he is currently in. Kidd worked as a very good base for Naito to work from which I will give him credit for, and Naito did do well to build up momentum from cheap shots to actually getting strings of offence in. In the end Naito faked out a Destino to instead roll-up Kidd for the three count. This was a good glimpse into what the future of Naito could be in ring, and it was pretty solid, but definitely cemented that his best days are firmly behind him. A fun watch but nothing special to me."

[5.0] "It was a decent fight. Half of the match happenee outside the ring which was kinda good especially when Gabe was in vharge or when he was tossed and sold it compeletely well. Nevertheless most part of the match was boring and felt like it was going too slow. Naito hit another really bad destino in this G1, maybe he should switch to another finisher? Afterwards we had quite good seconds with some no-selling from Kidd and couple of nice bumps from both sites which eventually led to a really smooth roll-up which gave Naito the W."

5 Punkte."
