918.12.2024Fakhruddin Hawari8.0While the decision to end DIY's title reign in just 28 days was very questionable, the match itself was good. The crowd was heavily invested, making a good match to watch.

2211.08.2024Frank Shooter6.0The decision of taking the titles away from DIY so early was plain BS. What was the point of making them champions to lose them at their second defense? Was there any plan with them as champions? Is there any plan with them for the future or are they condemned to wander in limbo? Aside from that and the fact the match could've been miles better, I liked how things were booked actually and the match was quite good for the booking and the time it had. DIY looked more dominant as a team than the sons of the Islanders, even they had to do the good ol' Bloodline special and interfere. Once Tommaso Ciampa was taken out by Solo, Johhny could only resist for a brief moment, and it was HIS moment, in his hometown (dude deserves a way bigger moment than that, but at least he had it), a moment that reminded me so much of the time when he single handedly took out the entire Undisputed Era to beat Adam Cole in New York, but this time he was facing a big bad Samoan Werewolf that ended everything by himself like a cold MF'er. The match looked more like a Speed match given how fast the pace was and how DIY looked like they wanted to end things quickly. Match was very well booked and I'm not mad at the Bloodline taking the titles, I'm happy for both Jacob and Tama for winning WWE gold, but I think DIY should've kept the titles longer and have the chance to revive the division with great performances (***)

3107.08.2024PR6.0Fun enough for the relatively short time this match got. Both teams just went all out and the match did a good job of once again showing off Jacob Fatu.

3506.08.2024RealityChecker7.0Didn't last long enough to hit the gear needed for DIY matches to really resonate, but by the same token, the match didn't need to be long considering the point was to get over Jacob Fatu as a dominant force. The ending sequence by Fatu in particular was very impressive

3906.08.2024JoeyBingBong6.0Lively and spirited, a nice piece of business to close SmackDown. Lost in the controversy of their title loss, DIY actually receive a pretty flattering presentation here, thankfully maximising it with a sharp performance. Ultimately though, it's the Jacob Fatu show, claiming gold with a spectacular closing combination. Unfortunately, the people weren't quite as with this as you'd hope, particularly in the first half, slightly limiting the frenetic pace's potential drama. ***
4006.08.2024ejr63097.0Really enjoyed this match despite knowing the result, Johnny showed out really well in this but it was too late at the end.

5005.08.2024Ifxfa7.0This deserved to be a 3 segment match but that slot was already given to Andrade and Carmelo earlier in the night so this is understandable. Still a very entertaining main event regardless
5105.08.2024RealGrapsThomsen7.0This was a very fun match but Im a little sad DIY lost, especially in their home town. DIY are too good to be transitional champions and The Bloodline doesnt need the Tag Titles. Other then that, the action was great and Jacob looked like an absolute beast, I hope these two teams have a rematch in the near future.

5305.08.2024BigReedus7.0This had just enough time to cook for a bit. Nice doomed hero spot by Gargano in his hometown. Jacob Fatu is something else, man.

5505.08.2024RandyDaddy6.0[6] Thank god they took titles off DIY. Boring ass tag team. Free Ciampa from this vanilla tag team whose gimmick is just 'We are good wrestlers'. Bloodline winning tag titles get lot of credibility. Anyone saying otherwise doesn't understand the business. Everyone is calling this new Bloodline as the bootleg version. So what do they do? They beat newly crowned tag champions and pin the hometown hero to gain massive heat. We know Solo is not beating Cody and theyd probably focus on their buildup with Roman for the Wargames after Summerslam. So they get this gold instead of world title. The match was decent. Ciampa didn't get much to do. Johnny got most of the time in the ring as this was taking place in his city. We didn't see any shenanigans at all from Bloodlines for about 70 percent of the match. And even after that it was just Solo who samoan spiked Ciampa. Tama and Fatu made a quick work of that won the titles.

8004.08.2024Screaming Enigma6.0A solid match to close the show that JUST missed the 7/10 mark for me (AKA 3.25/5 or 6.5/10). That's all I really care to say about the match itself. What I will say is that I'm extremely disappointed that DIY lost the titles so soon after winning them. I was so excited for them to have a run as champions on the main roster. Plus, it wasn't even the usual tag team that won them. I like Fatu immensely more than Loa, but I do feel like Loa should have been in this spot instead if they were winning the titles.

8703.08.2024Some Guy6.0Solid match for the tag team titles. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga start off strong, Gargano and Ciampa manage to fight back. This was pretty competitive until a distraction by Tonga Loa allowed Solo to hit a Samoan Spike on Ciampa, taking him out for the rest of the match. Gargano makes a fiery comeback where he manages to take out Tama. Jacob Fatu then went into beast mode, absolutely destroying Gargano for the win. A necessary title change. DIY's reign coming to an end in Gargano's hometown gave The Bloodline even more heat. 6/10

9403.08.2024xmarcsthescot5.0Very short Main Event and reign for DIY. Enjoyable with what we were given. The highlight was Johnny Gargano taking on 4 of the Bloodline members himself, but Jacob Fatu is a monster and destroyed him.
