It took me a while to catch the ride but definitely on the Darby train now. Cause who doesn't like train wrecks? Darby winning was a nice surprise as well. I love that Page isn't afraid to take a pin. Nobody has done more to get other people over than Adam Page.

The dynamic demanded a 15-min max match for it to be truly 9/10 levels of great. However, it was still phenomenal, with Hangman really punishing Darbys back. That Fallaway Slam on the Steel Steps was just crazy. Darby did a great Suicide Dive on the steps too, they used this weapon pretty well. I liked that the ending was clean and very smooth.

This was a really enthralling match, compelling and visceral, with Hangmans great facial expressions conveying a tangible sense of hate. Darby went all out as he usually does with the self-destructive bumps and stunts. For a first-time singles encounter, they fit together like a glove.

The length hurt it a bit for me and the finish actually annoyed the living hell out of me. Why Hangman has to constantly lose because of "feelings bro" is beyond me but it is one of the more tired stories in wrestling for me at the moment. The match itself had some awesome bumps from Darby and actually made me care about the winner. Even if the guy I thought should have won didn't win I guess that counts for something. ****
